I believe it has to do with service time and/or options.

Anyone change their minds on liking this fake crowd noise?

I still don’t like it.  Very much.

So, we are losing again......2-1 in the B4.

I just realized we had Hill in 2013.

I like the crowd noise. Can't imagine watching/listening to the game with silence in the background.

I know I'm being Captain Obvious here but the Tribe's offense is pathetic.

I like real and that is why I don’t like it.  That is my opinion.  However, I respect other people’s opinions even when I disagree.  You like it and that is ok with me.  I was just curious how posters were feeling these days.

I have no problem with anyone who dislikes it. As you said, it's all opinion based. I just think it would be weird to watch a sporting event that's mostly silent.

I like the noise on the radio. I find it a little strange on TV when they are showing cardboard cutouts and playing the noise.

I like the noise, especially on radio. It’s weird in TV, but also comforting. I’m typically pretty active during a game, so the noise helps make it feel more real.

In the old days, pro wrestling on tv used really cheap cardboard cutouts in the stands.

cat_lover and Gardens35:  are you old enough to remember that?  Lord Layton

I don't remember Lord Layton or cardboard cutouts. We had Big Time Wrestling and it originated from Columbus at Cooper Arena on the Ohio State Fairgrounds. Notable wrestlers I remember were Bobo Brazile, The Sheik, Wild Bull Curry and Flying Fred Curry and Ruffy Silverstein.

I remember all of them except Ruffy Silverstein.

I like Greg Allen.

How does this Romo guy get away with being an MLB pitcher throwing balls in the 70’s and low 80’s?

Anyhow, thanks Twins.
