Well, probably to the surprise of no one, not going away.

Fox is running a clip of his exclusive interview with Tucker Carlson.  Are you kidding me?!?  At least pretend to be traumatized for a while - you only got acquitted two days ago.

While I agree with the verdict, it doesn't mean I agree with his choices.  But this is disgusting.  The clip is "it was self-defense on trial".

I'm sure he got a nice appearance fee, and can't really blame the guy since finding work will probably be difficult for a while.  But this is a nail in the coffin for any defamation suits he might bring (if he had a case).

The kid is a loser.  He needs to go away. Tucker doing what Tucker does - trolling the left.

I didn't watch the interview, because I kind of knew it would be a crap show. Tucker is basically the right wing version of all the crap on MSNBC.

I think it airs tonight.  I don't watch Tucker, just saw a promo clip.

KR has caked-on makeup and manages to look like a bigger, more smug dbag than Tucker.

So nonchalant about it.  There's some psychopath there.  I doubt he stays out of trouble.

I know it's Tucker, but shame on Fox for validating the Left that the Right is going to make KR into some sort of hero.

Oh, FFS.  Rittenhouse asked to meet Trump, and of course Orange Man was happy to oblige.

I hope KR doesn't get a dime from any defamation/libel suits.  He needs some new advisors.  If you're using KR to "own the libs", you should probably re-think your life choices.

Add in how the right-wing lunatic sect is falling all over themselves to offer him internships because of, uh, current notoriety and this is becoming more of a total clown show by the day.

My take on this is that it is murder. Once he went back in the house he was safe and no longer under threat. Then walks out brandishing a gun. That’s not how self defense works

Why would I render aid to someone I shot? This video is a bit puzzling, but they’re probly all fucked. One guy dead, one guy going to jail for life. If I had to pick a side it’d be the side of the person who was on his own property.

Well it def makes you look like a human being. They are no longer a threat and no one should watch another human die especially not a stranger. Not gonna play well for a jury either. Being on your own property doesn’t give u the right to gun down an unarmed person

This is clear cut murder. Not sure how anyone could see any different. Unless there is another weapon we can’t see that the deceased had/was using.

If they are trying to break into your house, trying to kill you, or trying to severely injure you, you can if they are unarmed or armed.

None of those 3 seem to be the case here.

Also, was that on the wrong thread because it has nothing to do with Rittenhouse?

Stop!  You were corrected.  Accept that it was done for your betterment. Be grateful for the opportunity that’s been shown you.  Most people don’t have access to such a mentor.

No,  no it is not.

Other than a gun being used there is nothing else similar.

KR was in the middle of being attacked by a mob, this case the shooter wasn’t being attacked at all.

It’s closer to the Amaud Arbery case as the aggressor brought the gun, and the other person tried to grab in.

Arbery case was similar to this, to believe this is close to KR case is evidence you didn’t pay attention to the actual case and watch the video of what actually happened.  KR was literally trying to run away from the mob, this guy was safe when he went back in his house, could have locked the door and called the police. He came back OUT with a gun.

Not even in the same universe other than a gun was involved.

You’re the one that said it was similar to KR, which is obvious it is not.

You have the ability to create a new thread like “look at this redneck moron going to jail for murder soon” or “look, just like Arbery, let’s see if this case goes as murder”

Trying to play it off as like KR is disingenuous at best and trying to paint the KR case as not self defense which it obviously was to anyone that actually watched the video.

That dude will walk and probably not even be charged with murder. Texas aside, you can brandish a weapon (and he did so safely) on property. The guy didn’t leave, and then tried to take the gun from him. That’s pretty clear to me as an aggressive act to disarm and shoot me, so I shoot first.

Depends on the law.  In some states, it's illegal to brandish a weapon (I think).  I believe a few states also extend castle doctrine to your entire property (not just inside your house).

That's when you need a good, big dog and some "beware of dog" signs....
