I must have missed where BRF, or anyone, said that was an "impressive" victory. As Browns fans, I think most of us were just hoping to get out of there with a win...didn't care if it was 3-2, as long as they won. Considering they are on their 4th QB and almost 30% of their payroll is injured, or on IR, I'll take the "trash."

Yes.  TY

I'll take that win no matter the circumstances unless a team gets a bump in the standings by winning "impressively".

Yep. Don't care if they win like the Vikings did over the Raiders as long as it moves them along. People forget about the ugly victories after a few games.

The Steelers had 7 ugly victories just this year….I haven’t forgotten.

But only the “W” matters….there’s no BCS here

Exactly. I just want them to get in. Playoffs aren't exactly the norm in these parts and with the AFC the way it's going, I think they can beat anyone. The Bills would be a concern with the way they're playing. Chiefs, Rats, Jags/Texans/Colts? Nope. Think they can beat them all.

7-1 at home, 2-4 on road….how important is it to catch the Ravens?

If their defense continues to play well, I don't care if they catch them. Just want to get in and see what happens.

This is high praise, coming from Cowher, considering how much he slobbers over TJ Watt on a weekly basis...

May be an image of 2 people, people playing football and text that says 'VIELUS ESPN 32 95 " Teams know that and are taking advantage of it. He You can't stop him {Myles Garrett). The only way you can is by holding him and the refs aren't calling it. is " the most dominate defensive player I've seen in decades. -Bill Cowher via ESPN'

I legit had SB aspirations when Watson was healthy in preseason. Chubb went down, and I overreacted to a RB value (Chubb has tremendous value, but not 3 wins vs 11 wins). But then the defense was even better than I imagined (which I thought would be top-5 in NFL so I again thought it was possible. When Watson got hurt, I completely shifted my focus to make the playoffs and continue to build the culture. 2 plays appearances in 4 years under Stefanski is building on something, its building continuity, its building a theme / style for the team.

Make the playoffs, at all costs. I do not care if they get blown out or lose a close one, ultimately. Just get in and build on that. Come back healthier next year, have a solid offseason, see what happens.

Pretty much my thought process. My biggest concern is that Watson will never be "right", both mentally & physically, ever again. I've heard recovery from his surgery can be dicey and there's no guarantee he'll fully recover.

If he does come back healthy, they have a short window to get a ring as I don't see him, or the team, taking on a second contract.

You don’t care to go 11-6 get in and lose first round to the Texans 37-10?

With the Hell this team has been through this year, just getting in is an accomplishment. This week against the Texans is "must win." If they lose, I think there's a very good shot they miss the playoffs. They will beat the Jets but the Bengals will be a tossup.

There isn’t any reason why they couldn’t compete against any 1st round opponent

I think they can beat anyone in the AFC. Wouldn't want to face a red hot Buffalo team and I think Baltimore would be a big challenge. KC doesn't scare me.

AFC definitely seems wide open.
