I would be pretty stunned if Lawrence played. Even a lower ankle sprain would be smart to sit out 10 days. Any athlete knows you can come back way too quick on an ankle, and could skate by ok, but the chances of rolling it again with the weakened ligaments goes up tenfold and then you are just battling it for months on end.

Oh, I agree and if by some chance he were to make it, a key component of his weaponry (his legs) would be hampered and he'd be a sitting duck like Flacco.

They really need Denzel Ward back in the worst way. His inability to go the last two weeks I believe was a major factor in these losses.

Said the same thing Sunday. The trickle down of the defense is crazy. Can go straight man on the sidelines with him. Dangerous without. That led to Takitaki getting singled up middle of field with Puka. He shouldve had more help, but they had to shade sidelines cause Newsome was struggling. Also effects the rush, and our LBs are more concerned in the passing game which means they dont go as aggressive on rushes and we dont get the pressure as much.

He honestly may be the MVP of the league! lol

Emerson had a really bad game too.

Denzel Ward practiced today and is trending toward being back Sunday. This would be huge. Fingers crossed.

DTR not listed either. Nice to know based on this season, we wont have to go to Walker if Flacco is decapitated during the game.

I'm just hoping that Flacco's the one they are going with and I don't have to wince every time a QB drops back to pass, praying for no turnovers.

I am not sure you should feel that way. Flacco is notorious for turnovers, and pick-6's in particular (at least I remember a lot of them).

He looked 28 years old last week….I was surprised. I will guess that each week he “ages” a bit with the sorenesses from the games. In 4 weeks he should be his age and mobility.

Looked fresh last week though

It would help him (and the team), if they asked him to only throw 25-30 times per game. They are built better to be a running team, but Stefanski wants to turn them into a passing team.

I'm sure he will make mistakes but he's looked unlike any QB they've suited up this year, like a pro. His throws were decisive and he showed a pro arm like we probably haven't seen since Mayfield or Derek Anderson, velocity-wise.

Like Al said, they need to make him more of a game manager, with heavier run support, than a gunslinger. Should've done that with Watson too and he might not have gotten injured.

It would be great to be a running team. But they can’t run it, cause Ford sucks. They tried to establish it the first 3 drives last game and they went backwards. Line was getting blown up.

Ford’s stats are as good as Najee Harris and Joe Mixon

I rest my case lol. Chubb hits holes and shifts at full speed. Ford stops to make a cut.

Ford gained like 3 yards here, after he was hellaciously slow on the cut back. Chubb would potentially have scored. Shit, even if Chubb didn’t take the cutback he would’ve likely gained 10+.

So he arguably is the best Rb in the division

Actually, stat-wise, I think he is....if that says anything.

Also, my gut says Lawrence plays Sunday. Showed up yesterday with no boot and said he was "feeling a lot better than he thought he would." If he practices today, he plays.

They are going to force feed Ford because they drafted him but would much rather see Pierre Strong getting most of the touches. Seems to have better burst to me.

Strong is much more decisive and fast. Needs a hole to get thru, since he isn’t breaking any tackles. But he’s a lot quicker.
