Wife used to be a teacher. For every fantasy league or whatever I was in, my name was Hot For Teacher with the Van Halen cover as Avatar.

^^^^^^^^^ I was a freshman in college when this came out. I thought that those were shadows of the guys on the stone. It was explained to me by a buddy that it was their piss stains. Duh.

Edit: Laley dinged in before my post in  which I was referring to The Who.

This used to be a huge thing!

I remember even when CD's first came out they were in these cardboard boxes that was double the surface area of the CD and album art was still big.   At some point teh tree huggers complained about all the use of the cardboard/trees so they went to what you see now, just the actual CD with the art on the cover of that.

This is probably the most memorable from my formative years:

This one was pretty cool; it had an inner sleeve that slid out so the different (band member) faces would show up in each of the cutouts.  Plus the album was great.

Some of my favorite memories from age 3 and up are watching my father play his records, and studying the pictures on the covers. Always liked this one, especially the facial expressions on the band members.  The music is great, too.
