Ah yeah, I guess you are right. I guess a private one on one phone call is not the right place then. I mean it's not like he was told not to tell him congrats and to actually talk about the U.K poisoning ....

This is the point ptown is completely missing.  I get that he is butt hurt that the right rolled their eyes to the  the "blame bush" talk 7 years into Obama's admin, but the whole point is are you being intellectually honest with yourself?  Based on ptown's posts I would have to say no and his cover up is to do a half ass QO impersonation.  

FWIW I don't see half as many people blaming Obama for Trump's failure as the Obama sheep did with Bush.  When someone blames Obama at this point, I cringe.  Also FWIW, the POTUS has congratulated Putin on his election wins since 2000.  Fake outrage is fake. This is why I have hard time taking anyone freaking out about Russia seriously when it was no big deal while Obama was in office (or in this particular case, Bush as well).  Everyone laughed at Romney during the debate when he brought up Russia and nobody seemed to care when Obama essentially told Putin he would have more flexibility if he won a 2nd term.  So far, that seems to be the closest thing to collusion with Russia in the last 10 years.   At the very least admit your are partisan.

Whatever man, Trump is President now, not Obama. People on here were screaming that for 8 years whenever someone would blame Bush. Can't have it both ways. If things were so bad with Russia under Obama, Trump should fix it. Sounds like now, he is not doing a good job at all doing it.  

And yeah, fuck that whole special relationship thing with the U.K...we don't need them as an ally at all, right?

I don't know about that.  I am not "very" liberal - meaning I am not very extreme.  I am centrist in a lot of ways - I have voted for both parties.  But I would never describe myself as right down the middle.

Yup.  Would you agree six years ago we didn't know about Russia's meddling in our election, the Crimea crisis (2014) or even the latest reports of them using nerve agents to kill agents?

Obama congratulated Putin while attempting better diplomatic relations.
