@Broncos: Rookie TE Jeff Heuerman (3rd-Rd pick) tore his ACL in Saturday afternoon practice & is expected to miss season: [http://t.co/BBVPC8vD6l]
Yikes. That's 2 in as many days.

Ya all see where the Government paid many NFL teams to honor the troops before and during games?

Reportedly Blackmon's request to get reinstated to the Jags has been denied.
Not sure if he popped hot again or just missed a test...but looks like the bad luck is moving from Clev to Jax now.

Teams need a number of QB's for training camp. No reason not to pick up a guy like TP.

Good catch. After thinking about it, they aren't opposites. "Shit" as in "shitty QB" would be related to "TP."Fly4Fun;1728304 wrote:I don't think you know what irony means.

I'd still take Pryor over Manziel any day of the week.

Re-picking the 2005 draft....

Man, I never realized how bad the top end "talent" was in this draft.

BR...I think in the NFL there are a number of guys who are in the 'right (or wrong) place at the right (or wrong) time.
Sure, looking back we can repick based on how their careers have gone so far but, and we will never know, it doesnt mean they would still have been that successful.
In some sports......probably, but I think in football it is different.

Pryor isn't a terrible signing. I mean, Cincinnati kept bringing back Josh Johnson, who is awful. McCarron is almost assuredly going to be the backup, and Pryor does have some experience and can give them a different look in practice as a mobile QB. Still would be shocked if he dresses for any games.

Justin Smith has decided to retire adding another blow to the 49ers defense. At least this one they somewhat saw coming.

What is so funny about it? I think its a great deal for the Dolphins to do. Tannehill is a good QB and I believe he will only get better.HighRoller74;1729550 wrote:Ryan Tannehill extension 6 years, 94 million. $45m guaranteed.

Sort of like the Dalton signing.
Ya have to produce much more than that to command that sort of $$$.
Could end up being a steal...but I dont think so

He's 27, or will be before the season, so he's entering his prime.Iliketurtles;1729553 wrote:What is so funny about it? I think its a great deal for the Dolphins to do. Tannehill is a good QB and I believe he will only get better.
He's sub .500 for his career, career QBR of 51%, 84 QB Rating those numbers do not scream $100m quarterback to me. He's improved the last 3 years, however, as it stands, its a bad deal for the Dolphins, great deal for Tannehill.

Better than the Dalton deal. I would take Tannehill over Dalton any day of the week. Have Tannehill switch teams with the Bengals, and the Bengals would have won a playoff game by now.
