I think it's funny that as much grief the AGD has given to the WC on this thread, they both cared enough to follow it... lol

But wait.....THIS time it is different! Soccer will finally take hold across the US of A after this stellar 1-2-1 WC performance and scoring a whopping 5 goals!

If the athletes in the US focused on soccer like they did other sports......the US would be dominant. Can you imagine many of those WR's, RB's, DB's, guards and some forwards in basketball, etc if they followed through with soccer instead of the other sports? Some extremely quick, fast and great footwork athletes across the American playing fields/courts.

Actually I didnt.
I used to watch them in the morning a little bit but since I shut off cable a few months ago I havent. I know, I could tune them into the radio but my drive time is so short I wouldnt even get to listen to Greeny whine for about 5 minutes and I prefer to listen to music, or WLW. Speaking of WLW...was great to her McConnel back last week.

^^^I rarely listen to them anymore, but this morning I had them on during a loooong commercial break over on CFN91, and Greenberg said this same thing almost verbatim. Just a coincidence, I guess.

It is not a new theory. Heard it before...think actually Tracey Jones on WLW was talking about it last week but have heard it many times before.

Thavoice's wife provided him with that opinion. Give him time to speak to his wife to formulate another response.

My opinion is its a boring fucking activity played by wanna be real athletes and it will remain a curiosity in the USA. Now fuck off.

They are probably the most athletic people there are. Soccer builds endurance, stamina, hand-eye and foot-eye coordination, while also raising one’s agility and speed. I don't know any person that could run around for 90 minutes like they do. You're just a hater. Get with the times. It's the most popular sport in the world.

Oh yea! That post that said hockey was more popular. That was great. Where was that again?

Tiernan and CC are just retarded. Don't you guys know that soccer is a global sport. It has the most passionate fans. Soccer is just truly a team sport. You two sound like typical Americans who thinks that 200+ pound dudes running into each other with full force is the only way to go.

Considering that you're passionate about an activity which is mainly popular in high schools and third-world countries, uh...

Lol butt hurt. Enjoy your niche sport and grasping for help from ccrunner and Tiernan.

Let that sink in, before your next reach.

What are you talking about? I love futbol. I've been converted. Look at my last few posts. Why would I need help from ccrunner and tiernan? They are closed-minded tools. They just don't understand the game like the rest of us. It's going to take a good effort from us huge fans like me, like_that, and sportsandlady to come into this thread and defend the sport each time someone says something mean about it. Olé, Olé, Olé!!!!

Ah, my mistake. It truly isn't those African nations that dominate all distance events. My bad.

So CC is most popular in EU and still about a billion(maybe underestimating) times less popular than soccer in those countries.

Yes, because nobody gives a fuck about long distance running and soccer is actually gaining in popularity in this country. Try to keep up.

lol

Can you believe this guy? Trying to justify long distance running against the world's and my most favorite sport? Really?

It's pretty hilarious that so many fellow Americans cry over how "boring" futbol considering the hours of TV ads we wade through just to see a few paltry minutes of actual on-field action in a typical NFL game. Come on, man!
