Duke looked pretty solid today without Okafor. Jones/Cook is one heck of a back court duo. Good to see Grayson Allen get some quality burn as well.

It's going to give them plenty of excuses. Truth of the matter is things were falling apart before his suspension and things are going to be downright scary next year.

Fuck Maryland. Watching this game tonight reminded me of how glad I am they are no longer in the ACC. Melo Trimble is just the type of kid that would provoke my disgust for humanity.

Texas now 6-9 in conference play. They are @ Kansas next. Bet they're glad about extending Rick Barnes through 2018-2019.
But when you're coming off of a 7 seed and 2nd round tourney appearance, you've got to reward it.

Head football coach wins a national championship and after a couple of subpar seasons is fired. Head basketball coach gets to a Final Four 12 years ago and gets lifetime contract. It's certainly an interesting dynamic. What does it all mean? Basketball means nothing to the people of Texas. I've supported Barnes to a (very) small degree on here before, but what he's done with this group of talent is shockingly unacceptable.

Jamie Dixon is way better than Barnes. Both underachieve in March. But, Pittsburgh is usually solid regular season team at least.

Bottom line, if Texas doesn't fire Rick Barnes this off-season then they never will. The Longhorns were considered a consensus top ten team heading into the year. This team is beyond a disappointment. It's a travesty.

Dykes has done a solid job with the women's program. It was awful.
