I don't understand why these commentators continue to talk about how these freshman keep winning these games. They fucking better. They have twice the talent maybe triple the talent of any of these awful sec teams. Tired of hearing about it

Time for Cal to rally the troops. The last 2 games, they have been in a malaise. Doing just enough to win. The twins were awful today. Luckily, after the refs foul Cauley-Stein, Towns and Aaron Harrison out, they have the depth to get it done. Ulis, Lyles and Johnson were all very good in the OT's.

Crazy comeback by UNC.
UK plays their next 2 road games at Alabama and at South Carolina. Probably 2 of their 4 toughest conference games this year. This effort today won't win those.

Marcus finally showed up.
This could really be a season turning win. At least I hope so

They weren't near as bad and the game was at A&M. The home team should shoot well on home court.GOONx19;1694738 wrote:The same could be said for UK.

Washigton losses at home to a horrible WSU team. This is gonna be fun all year Rec, sorry.

The Cal and Stanford losses, okay. But Wazzou? They are awful. And at home?Laley23;1694756 wrote:Washigton losses at home to a horrible WSU team. This is gonna be fun all year Rec, sorry.

Didn't see any of the game, but Duke lost to NC State. Trailed by as many as 19.

It was a good game early, Duke weathered some momentum and runs State had in the first. In the second half, it was just open season for the Pack. I was flipping back and forth, but it seemed like Duke shot and bricked a lot of threes.

Wisconsin with no expectations, good.
Wisconsin with high expectations, not so good.
Don't understand it. Also realize wisky played without two of its best players.

Kaminsky and who? Rutgers sucks. Wisky should still win.Midstate01;1695140 wrote:Wisconsin with no expectations, good.

Today's Duke-State game in a nutshell: State, normally a 34 percent shooting team, shot 63 percent from beyond the arc while Trevor Lacey, admittedly a very good player, bore a resemblance to Michael Jordan in the 1992 NBA Finals. Needless to say, it's a movie that Duke fans have seen many times before. Frankly, I'm surprised Duke only lost by 12.
And Duke actually played decent D around the perimeter. The Pack took and made many difficult shots. Credit to them. Duke's interior D, on the other hand, was completely non-existent. The Blue Devils gave up far too many dunks and bunnies, especially on drive and dumps to the backside. The effort simply was not there.

The way in which Eddie Jordan wept after the game perfectly captured just how unimportant the Rutgers program is.Azubuike24;1695143 wrote:Kaminsky and who? Rutgers sucks. Wisky should still win.

Some great late night action. Stanford-USC and Arizona-Oregon State each are one-possession games late.
Arizona on the verge of going down in Corvallis. Game on FS1.

It's pretty crazy. Coming into the weekend, nobody would've called Rutgers or Oregon State even decent.

I'd call Oregon State decent. Rutgers is terrible, tho. I have Mack on my fantasy team so I've actually been following them this year.

Missouri used to have a proud basketball program. Yikes.
What a second half for the Canes against Duke.

The Duke of the last week is a prime candidate to get beat by somebody like Albany or fucking Grand Canyon in the first round. The Blue Devils finally land a prized center and there are no three-point shooters in the front court -- or anywhere on the floor, for that matter -- to help him out. A Ryan Kelly or Kyle Singler or Rodney Hood would do wonders to create spacing and open up things inside for Duke. As things are right now, teams are able to double down freely on Okafor without any concern for giving up points outside.
With a third straight defeat looming on Saturday at Louisville, Duke is treading in fucking deep water right now.
