A delicious slate of games on the menu tonight for a Friday in early December. Texas at Kentucky should be a doozy. Outside of Louisville, this might be Kentucky's last true test of the regular season before the Wildcats start scrimmaging the SEC.
Just hoping Rick Barnes gets the fuck out of his team's way tonight.

Is it too much to ask of you to be a productive member of society, Cameron Ridley? Got damn.

Should be an offensive foul.

Why are we turning this into a crime scene investigation? Jesus. Referees are getting more and more stupid.

Well, that just turned the entire complexion of the game on its head. A shame.

I'm not watching but let me guess, calls went for Kentucky?

It was a foul, but shouldn't have been a flagrant. Other than that, this is the most boring, most hack fest of a game I've seen. 26 fouls in 20 minutes. Dakari Johnson and Trey Lyles have 3 fouls, Karl Towns has 2 and all 4 of Texas' post players have 2 fouls.

I'm not exactly a Big Blue fan, so... Ha.SportsAndLady;1682797 wrote:I'm not watching but let me guess, calls went for Kentucky?
Even for the most casual of observers, however, it was a total bullshit call to slap Texas' best player with a flagrant on what was arguably an offensive foul on Kentucky. Of course, the officials didn't see it that way and, as Jay Bilas stated, studied the replay for nearly five minutes like it was the Zapruder film.

Honestly, this is borderline torture. I mean, already 50 fouls. EVERY post touch is a foul it seems.

Yale beats UConn on a last-second triple in Storrs. Rough week for the Huskies.

Cauley-Stein 21 points, 12 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 blocks. Anthony Davis-like game.

Texas 25 fouls, Kentucky 26 fouls. Way too tight of a whistle.

Texas fouls with 1.6 seconds, Towns make a pair of free throws. 63-51, the spread was -11.

Dick Vitale's insistence to loudly repeat his tired phrases without pause is very painful, especially since he sounds like he's dying. I hate him so much.
And totally agree on Kansas not being good ... right now. If Iowa State does not, Kansas will win the Big XII once again for the 30th straight time. Texas sure as hell isn't. It's just surprising to see Kansas in such a deep hole twice this early in the season in high profile games. But I have absolutely no doubts as to how good Kansas will be by the end of the season. Bill Self will right the ship, as he always does.
