Only this year would Kentucky be favored by 20 against a Providence team that returns 4 of 5 starters, is ranked 25th in the coaches poll and is 6-0. Just a stupid spread...

Lol that is ridiculous. They will probably cover now that I just deposited and put 100 bucks on providence.Azubuike24;1679937 wrote:Only this year would Kentucky be favored by 20 against a Providence team that returns 4 of 5 starters, is ranked 25th in the coaches poll and is 6-0. Virginia defeats Rutgers 45-26. Thriller. If only it would've been paired with that legendary 45-33 win Louisville posted over Cleveland State.

Looking good. Until the last 5 minutes, UK was still on Thanksgiving break.Iliketurtles;1679938 wrote:Lol that is ridiculous. They will probably cover now that I just deposited and put 100 bucks on providence.

UK's defense literally just chokes other teams out. Providence looked like a high school team in the second half. UK played like absolute dog shit on offense and won by 20. Friars shot 28% and LaDontae Henton scored only 3 points...

Kentucky had 12 steals. Providence made 11 field goals.

Texas stays unbeaten beating Connecticut on a 3-pointer with 2.2 seconds left from Jonathan Holmes. 55-54 final.
Kansas defeats Michigan State to win the Orlando Classic. 61-56 final.

Yep. And it's shitty. All 3 of the opponents literally played a modern-day version of stall ball and still got their asses kicked.Midstate01;1680457 wrote:Didn't Kentucky play a low scoring game too??
It would be nice if they reduced the shot clock to 30 seconds, like they did in the exhibition games this year. Much more exciting games.

B1G just took a 2-0 lead in the challenge with ACC. Don't know if they were favored in both of these (figured Nebraska would be over FSU, but not sure about who'd be the pick between Clemson and Rutgers).

Florida State has to be one of the more disappointing teams so far this year.
No way Rutgers was favored. They are terrible.

Oh yeah, Rutgers sucks. But I didn't know if Clemson was as bad. Haven't really heard anything about them this year.Mulva;1680864 wrote:Florida State has to be one of the more disappointing teams so far this year.

Kansas transfer Connor Frankamp to Wichita State. Baker, Van Vleet and Frankamp in the backcourt next year. That's going to be awfully difficult for most mid-majors to handle...

Looking forward to tonight's slate of games. I love the B1G/ACC Challenge. In particular:
OSU @ Louisville
Illinois @ Miami
Syracuse @ Michigan (good litmus test since I haven't had a chance to see either play yet)
NC State @ Purdue

Georgia State with as much talent as any mid-major not named Gonzaga or Wichita State...But even this is impressive. Complete beat-down of Horizon favorite Green Bay 71-41 with 3 to go. And it hasnt been that close.

Rumor is Kentucky and Kansas working on a home and home for the Big XII/SEC Challenge. It would make 4 straight years playing (they will play in the 2017 Champions Classic) and 6 games in 6 years. UK would play at The Phog next season.
