It would be funny for about 2 posts but then would get annoying as all browns talk will be drowned out by their bullshit. This would last for about 1.5 seasons.GoChiefs;1611676 wrote:I almost wish they wouldn't pick him just so we can read the hilarious posts afterwards.

Plus, they had only 2 QB's on the roster.queencitybuckeye;1611677 wrote:Why would someone think that signing a couple of free agents for a look-see would preclude them from selecting a QB in the draft? Happens all the time.
Think they have a veteran minicap right now, not sure if those two are there, and one at the end of the month as well.
The browns are obviously just signing them for depth at the position and arms for mini and training camps. They will draft one, and take at least 4 into camp. Backup QB's get picked up and dumped all the time, and sometimes they dont even get to attend any sort of team camp/practice.
and apparently, accorind to warren moon, Young really rededicated himself this offseason.

I'm not convinced of anything. But from the comments, it doesn't look like Manziel will be picked. If they are just playing poker, then I'll forgive and forget. But...if they fuck this up...good riddance Browns. You had your chance....and just like the previous 20 years, you will have blown it. It's that simple.Laley23;1611674 wrote:Iggy and FW are SOOOO convinced that the Browns wont take JFF they have already essentially written off Pettine and Farmer. Its ridiculous. What will you say when JFF is the pick?

I agree, though, that this is simply for depth and competition. These guys are camp arms and won't all be with the club come week 1

I'm still amazed that they think Manziel is the Messiah...other than backing into the Heisman, what has he done? Right now, IMO, he's a novelty...period.

What exactly is your problem here. Cant you read? I said that from what I've gathered, neither Pettine nor Farmer seem to have an interest in Manziel. If I am wrong, then I will be very happy. Why cant you comprehend what I wrote?Laley23;1611715 wrote:How about since youve been ridiculous about this whole thing you are never allowed to say anything about the Browns again since you will have been 100% wrong?

If they get it right...great. If they get it wrong, goodbye Browns.
And BTW, ever since I proved you wrong on Lewis having a better college career than Forte, you cant shake your case of chapped ass. Give it a rest.

Backed in? Really? The vote wasn't even close. Maybe you should use the google button and view his stats. He didn't back into shit. 69% completion, 2200 rushing yqrds. Nuff said. If you don't see the value there, then that's your problem. Hopefully Farmer isn't that stupid. And in other news, I see where Mel Kiper Jr's "number one overall pick" Jake Locker has been cut by Tennessee...what a shocker. My pet dog can do mock drafts better than that fuck.

Lol, completely forgot about that. Ask anyone on here, I have never taken an issue into another thread/topic.
As for this, it is just ridiculous to completely hammer guys who havent done anything wrong. There is PLENTY of shit that suggests the Browns will draft JFF, yet you only post the lunacy that they are idiots. If they get it wrong in your mind, hammer them. But youve already done that...so, now, if they get it right, you dont simply get to say "good, they arent idiots".

If we draft JFF, our resident dipshits will come on here and gloat about it even though most of us are either ok or indifferent with the idea of drafting JFF. Please just thread ban FW if we don't draft JFF.

Also, Kiper had Locker ranked #1 in his initial rankings for that year, as did everyone else, and through out the the year when he regressed, he was dropped down the list.

1. Patrick Peterson *
CB
6-0
219
Analysis: An extraordinary athlete, Peterson has 4.3-second 40 speed, safety size, good cover skills and a willingness to hit. Big threat in return game. Ends at No. 1. Last week: No. 1
2. Von Miller
LB
6-3
246
Analysis: Miller can impact NFL games early in his career as a pass-rushing 3-4 outside linebacker, but he also has coverage skills. Heady, big-time athlete. Last week: No. 2
3. A.J. Green *
WR
6-4
211
Analysis: Premier wideout in the draft. Good route-runner, great size and hands, good speed (4.48 in Indy). Immediate help. Last week: No. 3
4. Marcell Dareus *
Analysis: Dareus is a gifted penetrator with pass-rush skills to burn and a good motor. Well-liked, scheme-versatile; I like him most as a penetrating 3-4 DE. Last week: No. 5
5, Nick Fairley *
Analysis: Has worked out well after facing some questions about his size, and the pile of tape is still immense. Versatility and skills imply star potential. Last week: No. 4
6. Da'Quan Bowers *
Analysis: Perhaps the draft's most gifted pass-rusher. Injury concerns are there, but this is based on talent. Potential to go as 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE. Star athleticism. Last week: No. 6
7. Robert Quinn *
Analysis: Great, natural pass-rusher, solid athlete, has serious motor and high character. An early-impact threat at DE or OLB. Last week: No. 7
8. Julio Jones *
Analysis: Very good when healthy. Worked out brilliantly in Indy; ran a 4.39. Occasional durability concerns but has maintained high stock all year. Last week: No. 8
9. Prince Amukamara
Analysis: Has great instincts, finds the ball with good awareness and has good hands. Good speed, safety size. Ready to start at corner. Last week: No. 9
10. Muhammad Wilkerson *
Analysis: Great rise this spring. Scheme-flexible and disruptive, strong penetrator. Ideal 3-4 DE. Saw him as top-10 pick next year; now in the mix for 2011. Last week: No. 10
11. Corey Liuget *
Analysis: Reads game well; strong against the run or the pass. Has good leverage, is disruptive, is not elite pass-rusher. Solid workouts. Last week: No. 11
12. Aldon Smith *
Analysis: Ideal frame, athleticism to consider for 4-3 or 3-4; still developing but has a ton of upside. Athletic enough with size to be versatile. Jumps off tape. Last week: No. 12
13.0Cameron Jordan
Analysis: Frame and skills capable of handling 3-4 or 4-3 DE duty. Has top athleticism, smarts and speed for DE position. Last week: No. 13
14. Blaine Gabbert *
Analysis: Strong arm, good accuracy, ideal size and physical skills. An underrated athlete. Had a solid but unspectacular pro day. Will go high. Last week: No. 14
15. Cam Newton *
Analysis: Big-time physical ability, underrated mechanics and accuracy. Finished individual meetings and workouts with good results. But questions linger. Last week: No. 15
16. Jimmy Smith
Analysis: With an excellent size and speed combination, Smith quietly shut down receivers all season. Character issue overstated in eyes of many personnel folks. Last week: No. 16
17. Tyron Smith *
Analysis: A future blindside tackle. Fell some after a quick rise. Good frame, athleticism and quickness. Has added bulk. Last week: No. 17
18. J.J. Watt *
Analysis: Has shown athleticism and versatility at full 290 pounds. Has great motor and good diagnostic skills; is impressive pass-rusher. Last week: No. 18
19. Anthony Castonzo
Analysis: Smart, reliable with solid footwork and has added needed strength and overall bulk to improve leverage. Consistent worker, smart player. Safe pick. Last week: No. 19
20. Adrian Clayborn
Analysis: Better fit for 4-3 DE. Really good motor; batters O-linemen. Needs to refine rush skills; gets very high marks from those he's gone against. Last week: No. 20
21. Mark Ingram *
Analysis: Great pad level, explodes from contact, a terror on second level; 40 time not a huge concern for me; top-end speed was never assumed. Last week: No. 21
22. Nate Solder
Analysis: A physical specimen, has great length and has added bulk to his long frame. Could be moved along offensive line to provide help early in NFL career. Last week: No. 22
23. Gabe Carimi
Analysis: Monster year of tape, battling a number of high draft picks. Better footwork in 2010; added consistency. Excellent frame; could move along the line. Last week: No. 23
24. Ryan Kerrigan
Analysis: Has limited physical skills but elite instincts and ball awareness. Is a TFL machine, even against double-teams. Should shake tweener tag. Last week: No. 24
25. Jake Locker
Analysis: In eyes of evaluators, rebounded some with good workouts, interviews after combine. Arm, attitude, athleticism all there. Accuracy the question. Last week: No. 25

That's kipers final Big Board. Locker is 25, and was still drafted 8th.
In other words FW....wrong again.

Can somebody start a thread to list all of failwedge's fails? Whoever does it be sure to list the time he thought the cavs would easily make the playoffs (after Lebron left) because they had a good preseason record. His lack of understanding of percentiles brought the lulz too.HighRoller74;1611792 wrote:
