Kosar was not better than Montana, Marino, etc of his time, but he was easily top 10 QB in the league during his time.

As has been Ben for most of his time. This year, I'd say no. But for much of his career, yes.

Yeah, he only can hang his hat on the GAME WINNING DRIVE of the Super Bowl.
My comments were about his play in SUPER BOWLS, not the games leading up to it.

I'm not a Dallas fan and I know that Romo is clearly superior to Big Ben right now. Get off your gd damn high horse dude it's a bad look on you.

I admit he's definitely having a better season, no doubt about it. He's not a better QB though. Like I said, for the 3rd time...agree to disagree.

Megatron vs Primetime interesting.

Lets see 6'5 239lbs vs 6'1 195lbs Primetime around a 4.2 or 4.3 40 vs 4.35. Primetime is faster but, the size difference is the big difference. Of course it depends on play calling but in a jump ball situation Megatron simply beats Primetime down.

I love Primetime who is a HOF corner and one of if not the best corners, but Megatron IMO wins this duel and gains well over 100 yards without being double teamed.

If he gains say 140 yards but Deion has 2 pass deflections and an INT returned 40 yards....

Who then?

He hasn't had a better season than Romo in quite a few years, not just this season.

We've changed the subject homey! He doubled him up in INTS last year and both sat home for the playoffs. WASH!

I really doubt that happens. The speed is really close but, the size is on Megatrons side. I am an old guy, that has watched these guys play. Like I said it depends on play calling but Primetime cannot hang with a 6'5" 239 lb beast.

Imagine Megatron with Tom Brady or Peyton Manning throwing him the ball??? It would be horrible for any corner that ever existed, focus on 6'5" 239lbs that runs a 4.35.

Combine the last 4 seasons and Romo has a better TD/int ratio and completion percentage. So no, Roethlisberger is not just worse this season.

A bit off topic, but what about Dorial Green-Beckham's NFL future? Megatron clone? 6'6, 225 lb freshman and he's already wow'ing people at Mizzou.

Gawd. I am flattered at all of this Romo support. Glad you guys have finally decided to drink the kool-aid I've been serving.

Nobody cares about you and Romo. People only care about Romo right now because some posters are saying Big Ben is an equal when he's not.

If this was a Tony Romo vs. Matt Ryan or Tony Romo vs. Philip Rivers nobody would give a sh*t.

And imagine if the Lions had another good receiver. I mean their second and third option is Kris Durham and Kevin Ogletree lol. Reggie Bush went a long way in helping this offense though, I mean a long way but Tillman was absolutely abused by him last weekend

There are a ton of other factors....Deion was the best baiter of all-time meaning he could make it look like he just needed the QB to get it there and not be perfect....but Deion had speed to make up ground and if not intercept...he'd knock it away. Mixed with the fact that no matter how good Calvin is, Deion is on him and the gap between other receivers and defenders is likely greater and less risky, meaning fewer ball than normal going his way.

Regardless, it would be awesome to watch. Still think Woodson is the better matchup though.

Oh and BTW....I gave Megatron 140 yards...which equals out to 2240 yards on the season, he isn't doing that against a bunch of guys that are "pretty good".....he sure in the hell can't be assumed to do it to one of the top cover guys of all-time.

However, compare Kosar to a hall of famer from his time in Elway.

Kosar
Completion-59.3
TD/INT-1.43
QB Rating-81.8

Elway
Completion-56.9
TD/INT-1.33
QB Rating-79.9

Marino
Completion-59.4
TD/INT-1.67
QB Rating-86.4

I would say (obviously) Marino was the best of the 3, but Kosar statistically was better than Elway.
Kosar was one of the best I've ever seen against a blitz.

Elway had so game of eluding and running downfield.....Kosar had about size 18 feet and was as slow as Scott Mitchell.

Those Browns teams were loaded....just nasty on defense with tons of weapons on offense, hard to believe they didn't win a SB in the 80's or play for a couple.
