I'd love to hear the case for Jordan being "ten times the player" LeBron is...wes_mantooth;1531227 wrote:Although I think Jordan is ten times the player LeBron is, no way do I think LeBron is roided. He is an athletic freak

Yeah, I don't know that the rings can be used as an argument because Jordan didn't win them by himself but overall skillset, Jordan was better.Tiernan;1531359 wrote:Six fkn rings dumbass is the end of that argument.

Lebron higher FG%, more rebounds, more assists, more blocks; Jordan better though. LOLBR1986FB;1531362 wrote:Yeah, I don't know that the rings can be used as an argument because Jordan didn't win them by himself but overall skillset, Jordan was better.

Not all about stats. Regardless of LBJ's recent "fortunes" to land with a very talented group he still lacks that go for the throat/killer instinct that Jordan had. Jordan was way more clutch too. I concur. One could say also a demanding, "asshole" attitude/drive toward teammates to continually make them better. When TKFA couldnt get it done in Cleveland he skipped town to join forces with other stars to win it instead of sticking around and building a champion himself. It wasnt like he was one a shithole team, they made conf finals and such. He didnt have the fortitude to build his own dynasty so he jumped into bed with others to try and win.BR1986FB;1531367 wrote:Not all about stats. I'm actually taking LeBron's "skill set" over Jordan's.
But MJ still the GOAT, that's never changing.

Rings are won by leaders. Rings won today in the NGBA* are meaningless because the players have no respect for the concept of TEAM. They are individual gangsters grabbing as much money for themselves as they can. Stealing is a term well known by these criminals.

Mindset is also a large part of a "skill set." Lebron's pales in comparison to Jordan's. If Chicago needed Jordan to carry the team, he stepped up and did it. When Cleveland needed Lebron to step up, he quit on them in the playoffs.Automatik;1531371 wrote:I'm actually taking LeBron's "skill set" over Jordan's.

6/2=3...so that makes him 10 times the player?Tiernan;1531359 wrote:Six fkn rings dumbass is the end of that argument.

LeBron has a much more well rounded skill set than Jordan. Much better passer. Better rebounder. Better distance shooter. At LEAST as good of a finisher. Probably as talented of a scorer--the numbers actually show this when you look at percentages and consider assists. Jordan is also no more clutch than LeBron. It's been proven time and time again. I know I can never convince some of you, regardless of the facts. LeBron James is simply the best player to ever step foot on a basketball court. You're welcome to fight it all you want, I can't stop you from calling me a dumbass for arguing that 6/2=3 and not 10...but in the end you're all going to look stupid. When his career is over, there won't be a discussion of whether or not his legacy is as good as Jordan's. He'll just be the GOAT.

He quit on them in Detroit in '07?BR1986FB;1531377 wrote:Mindset is also a large part of a "skill set." Lebron's pales in comparison to Jordan's. If Chicago needed Jordan to carry the team, he stepped up and did it. When Cleveland needed Lebron to step up, he quit on them in the playoffs.
Your entire basis in this discussion is rooted in emotion. You have ONE game in your mind for LeBron and judge him completely based on that--and the false notion that he quit, as if he didn't come out the NEXT game and put up ridiculous numbers trying to do whatever he could to win. And you're also holding Jordan up based on 2 or 3 replays that continually play over in your head because ESPN plays them to death. He's clutch because you've seen him make the same 3 game winning shots 10,000 times. He didn't really make 10,000 game winners..it's just what is in imprinted into your brain. Meanwhile, LeBron is destroying everything that anyone put in his path before him and he's 28. Must be miserable to root for someone to fail so hard and be let down every time.

Alright...I've been on some forums in the past, and I'm new to this one so maybe it's just something here...but what is "SQ"? Because I've never heard that lingo before. But this is like the 3rd time someone has said that.

If you guys can't learn to debate without calling each other bitches and fucking dumbasses you will start to be banned from threads. It's not that hard to be somewhat civil.

Huh? He had a triple-double in that game, which was great and all...except for the nine turnovers and 38% performance from the field. 19 rebounds is the only ridiculous (in a good way) thing he did in that game when you consider his points came off volume shooting (27 points on 21 FG and 12 FG attempts) and his assist/turnover ratio was poor.Me?;1531393 wrote:He quit on them in Detroit in '07?
