Coaches are a stubborn bunch..and after playing 1 way all season, 29 games..it's tough to switch up. yes in hindsight he should have made a change. But their style worked for them 26 times this year.
To say that smacks of selfishness doesn't it? You tell the players to "leave it all on the floor", to "play their hearts out", to "give it all you've got"! Should not at least the head coach do the same?
Now you're trying to justify his lack of "coaching" because he may be stubborn, his methodology was good enough to get to the semifinals but an opportunity to play for the championship doesn't really matter enough for him to "THINK"!
Coaching includes the ability and willingness to adapt! For that comment, you should be ashamed of yourself!
And yes, the team should be, and I'm sure they are, proud of their accomplishment this year, as well as I!
