we have hardly reached any long run effect. The greedy, selfish and hateful are those who fill purgatory and their redemption takes millennia.

I agree, which is why you should never let your child drive until they move out of your home. It's also why you should NEVER, EVER own a Pomeranian. As long as we're talking unnecessary risk to any degree, you should never own a dog. It's best for those around you. Taking your family on an airplane is probably a bad idea, as well.

In fact, this will ensure zero unnecessary risk: Pad your walls. Stay in only one-level homes. These are ways to avoid unnecessary danger.

I hope that I have helped you, in some small way, to ensure that your quest for perfect safety for you and your family is furthered.

Cheers!

That's a good thing. I've never met a killer dog, but I assume that if I was to meet one, I wouldn't want him in my community.

I hope you continue. I hope you don't settle with your current efforts and you aspire to the ones I've mentioned. Several of them prove to be VERY dangerous, especially teenage drivers and stairways.

I trust that you will surge toward protecting your family. Based on your criteria for acceptable risk, I would hope that you would do your best to implement my suggestions. I hope that it will further redeem you in your humanity.

But in either case, I can certainly hope for your further redemption in all aspects.

gosh, you may not have been aware that there is one type of dog that kills more than any other type. it would be unnecesssarily dangerous to bring this type of dog into your home. Especially when there are other types of dog that have no record of killing humans, nada.

As long as any dog kills, there will always be one type of dog that kills more than any other type. It's unfortunate, but two species trying to coexist will always have problems one way or the other, even when they are as wonderful as dogs with humans.

Ah, but far less unnecessarily dangerous than allowing children to drive or owning a home with stairs. Dogs as a whole, all breeds included, are very safe across all breeds, particularly in light of most daily functions of human beings. It's why any type of dog makes a wonderful pet.
isadore;1213567 wrote:Especially when there are other types of dog that have no record of killing humans, nada.
What breeds might those be? Certainly not Pomeranians, who at under ten pounds, have killed before.

There are zero types of cars that have no connection to the death of people, to my knowledge anyway. There are homes without stairs that have resulted in zero deaths from falling down stairs ... a tad redundant, but of course true.

Human responsibility, caution, and safety is key to managing life's hazards. And I would much rather my children grow up with a good and loving companion who is extremely safe compared to most of human beings' day-to-day activities.

Rest assured, I would never suggest that someone be forced to want their own children to experience the same joy and advantages of such a companion. They are free people, and that means they are free to put their own fears above the wonderful relationship their children and family might form with such a wonderful creature. It might seem a bit selfish to put one's own fear before his or her family's joy, but you know, that's what makes America a wonderful place. We have the right to work out our fear over time.

I hope that a fuller view of the world awaits you, as you someday embrace God's creation in a truer, more real sense.

I am of a strong belief that you will be further redeemed in the years ahead.

Cheers!

Such angst.

You're right though.

Now lighten up, Francis. I know Internet is serious business, but it's not THAT serious.

I knew someone that lacks basic intelligence as yourself would have problems understanding my post. Your statement about "selfish fixation for killer dogs", is what I was referring to.

There's no way you can determine in the individual if long term effect has or as not been reach. You can only mad you decisions of evaluation by their actions and the actions are ones of having the opposite effect that yo are desiring.

Man does not co-exist with many types of animals that kill humans. When one type of animal such as the pit bull has such a proclivity for killing us we have in the past taken action to remove that animal from our presence. And with dogs there are so many types of dogs that have no record of killing humans. We should if we flying use the airline with best safety record, build stairs that are the least dangerous design, and pick dogs species that are less likely to kill us. Many types corgis, to beagles to bassets have no records of killing people as far as I know. It is an example of human responsibility not to bring the most deadly type of dog into your home or community.
Please think of the children and abandon your selfish fixation with these dangerous beasts.
Hoping for a safe future for you and yours..
