Which is a whole different situation, as the players on the field are trying just as hard, if not harder, to win as do the regulars.thavoice;1238412 wrote:Only time ya really see team sit starters at the end is to get the rested and avoid injury for the playoffs.

No word yet on if this scandle will affect the Beerminton Tournament this weekend in Coldwater Ohio that is taking place just across the road from the Community PIcnic. I know as a former Beerminton Champion I find this totally unacceptable and a kick in the face to all of us who take it seriously one day a year.TedSheckler;1238457 wrote:This is going to set back the world of badminton days, maybe weeks.

Either that or justinecredible and her are involved in a week long sexcapade....that would explain his abscense as well.

It occurs to me that India has almost as many people as China, so then why is India invisible at the Olympics?Tiernan;1238512 wrote:Damn 4 of China's gold medals have been in weight lifting so far...where the Fk is Holly Mangold when we need her?

I doubt india has the youth training programs that China and other countries have. Read a story about one of the chink gold medal winners who left home at the age of 6 to train in their camps. The family didnt tell her that her grandparents died two years ago or that her mom had cancer until after she won the gold.

The reason is they didnt tell her is because for two years they were telling her "...you no win Gold Medal we kill your Mom"

I was thinking drugs, but what you said also. That, and diet costing them valuable training time sitting on the toilet.thavoice;1238523 wrote:I doubt india has the youth training programs that China and other countries have. the thing is about drugs......there are so much testing in the olympics that it would be tough to do it alot and team wide. I think much of it has to do with the kids getting sent to the special training schools starting at a young age.
that and the judges are intimidated by their squinty eyes.

I'm pretty sure trampoline is part of the gymnastics, so I think (if I remember correctly) it'll be wedged in between the individual all-arounds and event finals on Friday and Saturday.Fly4Fun;1238465 wrote:Damn, you're right. I can't find trampolining anywhere.

I couldn't find it listed under either Artistic (traditional stuff like the vault, floor exercise, etc.) or Rhythmic (crappy ribbon dancining) Gymnastics.NilesPacMan;1238642 wrote:I'm pretty sure trampoline is part of the gymnastics, so I think (if I remember correctly) it'll be wedged in between the individual all-arounds and event finals on Friday and Saturday.

I have no clue where to look for it otherwise, but I found it in the all events category.Fly4Fun;1238647 wrote:I couldn't find it listed under either Artistic (traditional stuff like the vault, floor exercise, etc.) or Rhythmic (crappy ribbon dancining) Gymnastics.
