NBC reportedly is going to wait and broadcast the men's 4x100 at 3 in the morning, which is prime TV watching time for drunken young people getting home from the club.

I am a big proponent of NBC's decision to broadcast everything at night, as I just prefer to watch it in the evening on my television and not have to worry about finding it online or my phone -- whether or not the network should also do so during the day is another argument -- but why do they wait until midnight?

I knew the result before hand but that was a crazy 4x100. If USA hand all perfect handoffs it would have been crazy close

Usain Bolt is very humble.

That is all.

It was an incredible race until the baton found the human lightning bolt's hand. As soon as Bolt took off for the finish line, it was over. He was flying. He's on another planet.

If the U.S. wants to beat the Jamaicans in Rio, they will have to do it on motorcycles.

LOL at Bob Costas: "It's hard to have a higher opinion of Usain Bolt than he has of himself." Nothing wrong with a little flair and self-confidence, and I know sprinters are the ultimate "look at me" type of athlete, but dude takes it to a whole new level.

Very impressed with the US time- would've tied Jamaica's world record from the World Championships last year.

Too bad the women's volleyball team couldn't get it done.

US will leave with the most overall medals and most golds.

I, also, like NBC's decision to broadcast the stuff at night. At the end of the day, I enjoy being able to sit down with the family to enjoy the Olympics together. I think that as long as they stream everything for those who want to watch it; it shouldn't be a big deal.

The one thing that I would change would be to put the fluff later. Show the events first, and if you want this fluff (some of which, I enjoy), show it after the sports. Play the events from 8-11 and fluff from 11-12.

The views from above the stadium are amazing.

The entertainment . . . not so much.

Random question but does anyone have any idea how much distance Usain Bolt covers every stride? A group
Of family members were debating this tonight during the closing ceremonies, and someone mentioned they gave the distance during one of his races.
