NBC reportedly is going to wait and broadcast the men's 4x100 at 3 in the morning, which is prime TV watching time for drunken young people getting home from the club.
I am a big proponent of NBC's decision to broadcast everything at night, as I just prefer to watch it in the evening on my television and not have to worry about finding it online or my phone -- whether or not the network should also do so during the day is another argument -- but why do they wait until midnight?

I knew the result before hand but that was a crazy 4x100. If USA hand all perfect handoffs it would have been crazy close

I, also, like NBC's decision to broadcast the stuff at night. At the end of the day, I enjoy being able to sit down with the family to enjoy the Olympics together. The one thing that I would change would be to put the fluff later. Show the events first, and if you want this fluff (some of which, I enjoy), show it after the sports. Play the events from 8-11 and fluff from 11-12.
