We'll know a lot more about where the dominos could possible fall in a week after the Colts make a decision.

Have you watched MoMass play last 2 seasons? I wouldn't be shocked if he were to be cut and not get picked up by anyone.BR1986FB;1102558 wrote:MoMass & Norwood would both be solid #4's. If Massaquoi isn't one of the main options he'll be fine.

I cannot fathom them paying the 28 million if he is not 100% (his 75% is better than 2/3 of the starters in the league) when you are drafting Luck. The domino will be Manning going to hopefully the Redskins. Then Flynn will hopefully sign with the Dolphins and the Seahawks stay put.lhslep134;1102864 wrote:We'll know a lot more about where the dominos could possible fall in a week after the Colts make a decision.

Disagree, I think he is a 4th or 5th receiver on a squad.Commander of Awesome;1102962 wrote:Have you watched MoMass play last 2 seasons? I wouldn't be shocked if he were to be cut and not get picked up by anyone.

Agree. He was fine when he had Braylon taking a bunch of the attention off of him. Get a legit free agent WR in here to pair with Little and I think Mo could be solid.Sonofanump;1102986 wrote:Disagree, I think he is a 4th or 5th receiver on a squad.

1. Blackmon/Floyd
2. Little
3. MoMass
Slot. Norwood/drafted player/FA
Doesn't sound too bad to me. But i have a sneaking suspicion that if we don't get RG3, that they will draft Claiborne

I'm torn on Claiborne. He's the best corner in the draft, but honestly if we can't get RGIII, I'd rather trade back because as the Giants (and 49ers for that matter) showed, you don't need elite corners if you have a great pass rush. The Eagles also inversely proved this by playing terrible defensively in the secondary this year because they couldn't get to the quarterback.

This posted below is cut & pasted from the OBR. Jim Donovan was on All Bets are Off and told this story about a previous draft. Savage was an idiot, in hindsight, for listening to these clowns...
Back in '07 about 7:30 p.m. the night before the draft, Rob Chudzinski and other
offensive coaches went to Savage, and said, you need to change the plans and
draft Brady Quinn. Savage said come on, wait a minute, you've had months to
tell me this. The offensive coaches were insistent, but Savage and the team had
already decided to go Thomas. The team ended up trading up to get Quinn like
the coaches wanted, but Quinn wasn't the guy Savage originally called teams
about trading up for. Savage wanted to go after Darrelle Revis, the Jets(they
were 25th) got wind of it, and moved up themselves to get Revis. We moved up
anyway but took Quinn(at 22).

Jason babin had almost 20 sacks himself this year for the eagles. It was more of the corners not playing up to there ability and the safety's.

It would be nice to get rg3 and keep the 22nd pick.
Qb: rg3
Wr: garçon (free agency)
Floyd
Little
Rb: Hillis
Te: Carlson (free agency)
I would say that's a pretty damn good offense.

He is the best value player and worth being in the top 5 for paid kickers. No one else on the team outside Thomas is worth paying top 5 money to. Sad.Skyhook79;1103321 wrote:Well he has been their best most reliable scorer.

They were only on the field together for 4 games. And MoMass played well in 1 of them. In the other 3 he had a combined 2 catches for 31 yards, so I'm not sure where that's coming from.BR1986FB;1103032 wrote:Agree. I don't think he'd be a terrible #4 though, because honestly it's hard to consider a #4 receiver terrible.

Mike Lombardi from the NFL Network was on the really big show today.
He said Colt McCoy is not a viable starting qb in the NFL, and that the Browns must address the position. Thinks he can be a great career back-up.
Said the Browns should do everything they can to move up to get RGIII, but doesn't think they will.
He finished up by saying they love their system more than any one player, and that is why they are so hesitant to trade up for a guy that isn't a perfect fit for what they want to do. Sounds like Tannehill is the guy they really want.
Having been coached by Mike Sherman that wouldn't surprise me a bit. They can't take him at 4, but he wouldn't be there at 22.

Which says they had better pray that someone is there at 4 that somebody else wants so they can trade down. You think some people might lose their mind if the Browns "sell the farm" to move up to #2? Try selling Tannehill at #4...IggyPride00;1103474 wrote: They can't take him at 4, but he wouldn't be there at 22.
