Quite a few intangibles why rgiii is getting the love also.IggyPride00;1099796 wrote:Cam Newton's success had a lot to do with the love RGIII is getting right now.
RG3 was the valedictorian of his HS class. Graduated from college early. He also had a higher GPA in college then Andrew Luck.
Plus, me being a track guy I like mentioning the fact he qualified for the Olympic Trials as a 18 year old.
If the Browns don't get rgiii, the fans should riot and light the river on fire.

I want them to get Griffin but I don't want them to go apeshit crazy and throw three 1st's at the Rams or something stupid like that. Hell, if you're gonna do that, give the Colts a call for shits & giggles.
Three 1st round picks for rgiii......hmmpf, yea it is a lot but I'd still do it. Browns would just have to work harder scouting the 2nd rd and later picks.

The league announced last night that the Browns aren't allowed to participate in free agency and IF they draft Griffin they won't be allowed to use any more picks for receiving weapons. :rolleyes:chippy10;1100051 wrote:i bet the house with RG3 we dont win more than 5 games he gets hurt. whos going to throw to??????? we have no one on offense. Hearing the Browns will consider selecting the following at #4...Andrew Luck (duh), RG3 (duh), Matt Kalil, Jonathan Martin & Morris Claiborne.
Hearing the Browns will NOT select Justin Blackmon, Trent Richardson or Riley Reiff at #4.
Jonathan Martin is an interesting name that came out of nowhere that high.

I hope not on Martin, I think he's been over rated all year. Would be a huge reach IMO to select him at #4.

I agree. All of those other names I was like "ok, understandable" but when I saw Martin's I was like "wtf?" Big reach...can't see them taking him but interesting they have him rated higher than Reiff.Commander of Awesome;1100091 wrote:I hope not on Martin, I think he's been over rated all year. Griffin MoC or Kalil has to be there so I don't know why you would even consider Martin.

Me either. His stock has taken a huge hit this season considering coming into the season he was supposed to be battling with Kalil for top LT in this class.
Question, would you guys be pissed if we took Kalil at #4?

Yes.
I know it isn't the right thing to say, but I want a playmaker and someone to get the fanbase excited

Would be pissed if Kalil was the pick at 4 because I think they could use him for bait to trade down. The guy is likely going to be a Joe Thomas caliber LT.

Love RGIII, but lets not get to carried away. RGIII has a degree in Political Science. Andrew Luck has a degree in Architectural Design. Level of difficulty is a little different there.said_aouita;1100040 wrote:Quite a few intangibles why rgiii is getting the love also.

NFL Network this morning was reporting that at least 2 teams outside the top 12 have asked the Rams what it would take to move to 2......Rams blowing smoke? who would you guys think this would be ? Bottom line is we have more ammo to trade than any other team, it is whether or not we want to use it or call the Rams bluff (if it is a bluff)
i thought i read somewhere that the Rams liked Blackmon, and that 1 reason we were considered better trade partners was that they could then still get him at 4....don't know why we would be leaking that we would not pick Blackmon at 4 then,,,,makes Rams think he could possibly be available at 6.....Dallas really likes Clairborne /LSU....were talks about them trying to jump ahead of Tampa if the price was right.......if we do not pull the trigger on RG3 and Clairborne is available at 4 ,you guys all right trading back with Dallas ? Just speculation

Saw this in a comment under BR's link. Looks like I'm not the only one wary of B12 QBs.
I have never seen this much hype over a player who thrived in a conference that played the worst pass defense of any NCAA conference in 2011.

LOL 0 chance ANY WR gets taken before Blackmon.
This is just typical pre-draft bullshit articles that will drive up viewers to their site.

Dan Woolf is a douche hack. He started his own blog/site called DawgScooper before going to NFL Authority. Met him once at TC, guy's a idiot. At the time he sitting in the fan seats but tried to act like a know it all with inside info with "sources" etc (while his website was just a blogspot lolfail)... When in reality he was an unemployed blowhard.BR1986FB;1100294 wrote:Not surprising...

I'm not knocking him for starting his own site or anything, and I liked the TC reports along with stats he provided. But the jackass puts up opinions and rumors like its the truth and had sources backing it up, when in reality he would just listen to cleveland radio and talk to a guy at a bar and pass it off as fact.

NFL.com - The Dolphins, who have the eighth overall pick, aren't too motivated to trade up to No. 2 and select quarterback Robert Griffin III.
A team source told The South Florida Sun-Sentinel that the Rams are asking for a bundle of picks equivalent to the value of the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

I think this is where Flynn ends up.
