One thing I do know, Weeden will stretch the field a whole lot more than McCoy because he can throw the ball over 25 yards. In fact, he has uncanny accuracy on deep balls. Who knows, maybe Cribbs can become a legitimate receiver?
People said the same thing about Brady Quinn. He's now holding the clipboard for the backup QB who holds the clipboard.

Its not that. He could have been had at 37. And a future pro bowl OG (a position of need) went to our hated rival. A sure fire starting RT went the pick after..

Classic Browns. He did give the Browns an A- for the Richardson pick though (the minus for Holmgren getting duped into trading up to #3 for him).
Pretty much sums it up. But who cares if we get 5 years of production out of Weeden?!?!? /desperatedeluisonalfans

Wrong, people said Brady Quinn was prepared for the NFL because he played in a pro style offense under Charlie Weis. They never said he had great arm strength or accuracy, not to mention he has entitlement issues.

Still got nothin to stretch it with, Cribbs won't be a target, has declined in the return game since putting him wide out, and signing a fat contract...I dunno, hope I'm wrong about that old ginger fuck, but damn...13 effin picks going in and we trade down and pick father fricken time way too early.

Open it up with who?? Browns have nobody to stretch the field and nobody to stop the LE from killing the QB.

Can't wait when we are a top 3 pick next year, and pass up on an actual good QB because we have a 30 year old QB going into his 2nd season.

I just wanted to hear David Decastro. We could've had Weeden with our second round pick and grabbed decastro to protect him.

I'll call it now. The Browns won't draft a WR at #37.

Def wrong, ppl were all over Quinn for his lack of arm strength (despite having big biceps) and horrible accuracy. Theres a reason he droped to us in the 20s despite by most being a top 5 pick.

Using that logic, there's a reason Weeden dropped to #22 and its not his age. Guy is a system QB. Might as well take Kellen Moore in round 7 if we wanted that.

zach24oz;1153418 wrote:If they do decide to go back if a team comes up to get Richardson, how about getting Floyd, Stephen Hill/Reuben Randle, Riley Reiff or Doug Martin/LaMar Miller? They can use some of their other draft picks to come back up and take Reiff in the mid-latter of the 1st, and use their second rounders on either of the wr/rbs.
Commander of Awesome;1153042 wrote:Floyd, Randle, Hill, Wright.

Not stupid at all. All 4 have #1 potential, blackmon doesn't. All 4 are faster, bigger (except Wright), and better hands. Nice fail, can't wait to hear you gush about Sanu next. /Sarcasm.
Crimson streak;1153052 wrote:I would take Floyd and maybe randle over Blackmon. But I agree he would be a very good number 2 but we need a number 1
Several of you guys have mentioned that you would be happy with getting Reuben Randle at 22. What if we get him at 37? What does it matter if the Browns still get guys that we knew they liked, they just flip flopped them around? Maybe they are expecting to be able to grab Mike Adams in the 3rd now since his draft stock seems to be free falling?

People just don't understand that yes you guys are pissed they took Weeden but they could have taken a WR and you'd still be pissed because they passed on Decastro.
