Granted I still think he's a reach at #15, but that would be easier to swallow.

Why are we making final predicitons a week away lol? Fair enough, my prediction is trade down if Kalil is at 4. If not Richardson will be the pick.

Good point....also it's not illegal in the 13 states that have it legal for medicinal use (not that Adams' was medicinal I'm assuming). Randy Moss, Warren Sapp, Ricky Williams, etc.....you can smoke weed and still be a good football player. Hell look at Michael Irvin!

Lol, all three of the players you mentioned had SEVERE issues during their time in the NFL, hence the reference I made to becoming the new Raiders. Anyways, enough pot talk. Let's get to the draft!

I think it's going to be Claiborne but I'm praying for a trade down. I'd feel more comfortable taking a Floyd at 10 than Blackmon, Richardson or Claiborne at 4. I like Richardson but I just got this feeling Heckert is locked in on someone like Isaiah Pead, Martin, etc later.

Take Richardson!!!
Power, doesn't fumble, quick. I'm convinced!

Heard Rizzo say today that the Browns lost 8 games by 7 points or less last year. Some weapons here and there and they should be competitive soon.
3 of their 4 wins were also by 4 pts or less. It goes both ways.

Got another one. Heckert mentioned in his presser today that he "learned from past mistakes trading up and drafting for need versus the BPA." With the obvious needs on offense, how would you feel if, let's say, the BPA at the Browns first 4-5 was a defensive player and they went that direction? Not saying it's going to happen, just hypothetical....

I don't like it, but this is why I said it would be Kalil or Claiborne

Not that the front office cares, nor should they, but there will be some people (fans) flipping their lids if they go defense with their first 3 or 4 picks.

^^ The first 4/5 picks or what? I also saw an interesting thing during his presser shown on All Bets Are Off, where someone was asking him about drafting guys like Deshawn Jackson and Lesean McCoy in the 2nd round, and if he thinks he can get guys like that this year, and I think he was about to comment on it but then said he''s not going to tip his hand. So I was wondering what rbs and wrs are like those 2 guys who he may be looking at for the second round? Maybe they go with Doug Martin or David Wilson with their 2nd or third pick, or go for wr's like Randel or maybe Quick in the 2nd. That is if they dont take T Rich or a wr with one of their top picks. He also said he didnt think this is a strong LB class, so maybe there's a select few he likes and after that there's a drop off.

And I would have no problem taking Claiborne with the first pick, they can always get a good wr/rb with their 2nd and 3rd pick.

I will flip if they take their first rounders (either one) on defense..but I do want an OLB in the 2nd round.

Im starting to like richardson at 4 actually just because they'll still have a terrible record this year with him and pairing him and an elite qb next season makes me happy in pants.

How many years in a row are they going to keep saying this? When has it ever worked for this organization?

DB is not a top need, no thanks on claiborne.

A kickass Ravens/Steelers type defense WOULD be fun to watch but damn this offense is like watching paint dry....

Thing is....Claiborne doesn't do that....be nice if there was that Mario Williams type player in this draft

They should care.

If they use early picks to draft defense they will all be looking for new jobs next year because this team won't win 3 games.

With this offense being what it is we would be hard pressed to win 8 games even with the 85 Bears or 2000 Ravens defense, and whatever defense we have won't be anywhere near that level even with new draft picks.

If you can't score points you can't win. Even if it means adjusting draft philosophy, you have to draft offense.

Alot of this is the front office's fault anyway for ignoring free agency. Had we gotten a right tackle (Winston) or WR there wouldn't be such dire need to draft offense.

Instead of needing to only fix a few holes with the draft, we still need absolutely everything. It just ratchets up the pressure and limits the front offices options as far as being able to draft defense and still put a competent offensive football team out there in the fall.

I meant if they were to go with a CB, DE, OLB with those picks regardless of who the player was. I'm not advocating it but that would essentially fix the D for years to come. Again, not advocating it...

I heard a couple of days ago that there may have been interest in Winston but Winston essentially said "don't bother calling."
