Lol no fucking way this team goes 13,14,15, even 16 losses this year. That's almost laughable..
hell last year was the worst browns team I've ever seen and they snuck 4 wins in there, and were competitive in a lot of games.
McCoy isn't the answer probably but come on we aren't going to be that bad. And even if we are, hello barkley or another top QB prospect. Use logic folks, don't just go panicking because you wanna win now so bad you shit yourself.

I'd say the 09 Browns team was worse. Least the first 12 games.SportsAndLady;1147806 wrote: hell last year was the worst browns team I've ever seen and they snuck 4 wins in there, and were competitive in a lot of games.

It's kind of hard to tell because most times by the last 3-4 games of the season teams that play the Browns are usually resting starters preparing for the playoffs.SportsAndLady;1147806 wrote:Lol no fucking way this team goes 13,14,15, even 16 losses this year. That's almost laughable..

I add my opinion to discussions and occasionally run you off.
Why? You gonna come to my place of residence and beat me up?

Don't recall you "running me off" but I do find it funny that you constantly harp on links that I post on here. There may be a couple of others but, for the most part, the response I've had from the links posted has been pretty positive. As I've mentioned previously, the main reason they are posted is because people are too lazy to do it themselves.
Still don't see your value or really know who you are. I'm familiar with the usual posters on this thread (COA, S&L, Durkie, like_that, etc) but haven't really seen you bring anything to the table.

If the Browns don't trade down(prefer this). I want Richardson, best WR, best lineman with the next 2.
If they do trade down with STL. I want Richardson or Claiborne...best WR, weeden, best OL with the next 3 picks

I really want T-Rich at 4 or 6 but I'm getting this feeling they are going to wait and take someone like Pead later. Not a fan of Claiborne (don't think it's a need) at 4 but of the options he's probably BPA.bases_loaded;1147838 wrote:If the Browns don't trade down(prefer this). This is when Heckert needs to slip on his Big Ben "rapin' shoes."wes_mantooth;1147842 wrote:I think it will get real interesting if Kalil slips

That's why the Steelers played Rapistberger on a hurt ankle in week 17 against the Browns right? Or how about Mendenhall(their starting RB fyi) tearing his ACL in that final game of the season?Skyhook79;1147823 wrote:It's kind of hard to tell because most times by the last 3-4 games of the season teams that play the Browns are usually resting starters preparing for the playoffs.

Some interesting stuff from Heckert's presser. A Lot of which we already know but a few nice tidbits. Not trying to read too much into it but damn it sounds like he's leaning towards Claiborne.

I personally appreciate the links as I don't always have time to look up these things, so it's nice to come on here and have quick access to pertinent information. If you don't like them, skip the post and move on to the next one.BR1986FB;1147833 wrote:LOL...not at all (beat you up).

Hope this is some bullshit (from the presser)...
# Browns GM Tom Heckert said he doesn't buy idea QB Ryan Tannehill could not play right away. Mentioned that Tannehill played in WCO at A&M.
And this...
cott Petrak ‏ @ ScottPetrak
# Browns Heckert called Bama RB Richardson very good player, but said fact that he drafted Hardesty 2 years ago plays a role.
Will Burge ‏ @ WillBurge
# Browns GM Tom Heckert said if those 18 guys w/ 1st-rd. grades are gone at No. 22, he'd try to trade down.

Heckertt has said he likes mccoy and thinks he will do fine with added weapons. So I don't know where you are getting this "they hate mccoy" stuff BR. They only went after RG3 because he's a dynamic QB who would instantly upgrade the offense, something Weeden is not.

I feel like he is saying that type of shit about Tannefail to pressure the Dolphins into trading up to the Vikings spot, which in return would put the Browns in great position to have Kalil and trade rape. Just my thoughts.BR1986FB;1147883 wrote:Hope this is some bullshit (from the presser)...

I don't believe I've actually said THEY "hate" McCoy.DeyDurkie5;1147896 wrote:Heckertt has said he likes mccoy and thinks he will do fine with added weapons. I seriously doubt a GM is going to say "our QB really sucks" when he may have no other option and be stuck with him. Just like much of what Heckert is saying is fiction/smokescreens about who he will draft, the same can be said for his comments about McCoy.
Guess we'll just have to wait a week to see what they do.

I want no part of Tannehill. I'd rather have Weeden in the 6th round than wasting a 1st round pick on a guy who will sit behind a 3rd round pick for at least a year.

With all of the glaring needs the Browns have on offense (not including QB), if they select Tannehill at 4, they deserve to get the ax. That is the type of pick that sets a franchise back AGAIN.

Brandon Weeden - QB - Player
After doing tape study of Oklahoma State, NFL Films' Greg Cosell describes Brandon Weeden as the best pure "pocket passer" in the draft.
Cosell concedes that Weeden gets into trouble in a muddied pocket, however, and is "not very good in the eye of the storm." Weeden rarely faced high-pressure situations in a Big 12 conference virtually devoid of pass rush behind an Oklahoma State offensive line long on talent. Weeden will likely be drafted in the second round, but his performance under pressure is a red flag.
With this evaluation, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Browns take Weeden ONLY AFTER they secure their RT opening. If a guy is a great pocket passed but can't pass under pressure, they better make sure there is very little pressure coming his way if they want to be successful
