You can still get a very good WR with your 22nd pick. If you can lock up a guard for the next 5+ years, add a very good WR at 22, add a 1st round pick possibly more, and position yourself to move up to pick #1 next year and grabbing Matt Barkley.IggyPride00;1132692 wrote:So are 3 best offensive players can be lineman? I am all for a good O-line, but what is with the mental block in this city against anyone that is capable of helping us point points on the board at a skill position?
That sounds good to me.

I prefer blackmon, but I will be perfectly happy if they nab a WR at 22.
I mean, nothing wrong with Claiborne and Hill with the first two picks. What I don't want is Tannehill at 4....no god damn way. Ps, Durkie...i think I am going to pass on the first van that I looked at. I have two short buses..lol...to look at though...one in parma and one in norwalk.

The transmission is a concern, it slips. This bus in parma that GoChiefs posted on my wall can be had for 2 grand and has a more reliable diesel in it....and less miles. Plus, my cousin is getting me info for a bus in norwalk that supposedly runs well and can be had for 1200.

that's awesome. Looks perfect, any wiggle room on that price? and what is this vehicle going to be used for primarily? Just a spot for people to chill by? I'm assuming it's for you guys in cleveland to get back and forth for the games right? Cause I'll most liekly be coming from cbus for the games.wes_mantooth;1132706 wrote:The transmission is a concern, it slips. I will try to get the price down. I am going to put a stereo system and a flat screen tv and hopefully a bar in it....so it is going to be pretty awesome. I do know that it needs a new radiator. Other than that, it is supposed to be in great shape.DeyDurkie5;1132711 wrote:that's awesome. Looks perfect, any wiggle room on that price? and what is this vehicle going to be used for primarily? I didn't realize you had plans like that for it. That should be awesome. If you can get the price down on that, and the motor and everything checks out, I would say do it. I mean you wouldn't even need a new paint job on that. Unless you wanted to rep our gang signs and shit to let muni lot know of our street cred.wes_mantooth;1132716 wrote:I will try to get the price down. Agreed on the Elf. I've been trying to think of gang names/design ideas for a while now. Nothing needs to click, especially since i can't smoke. My creative juices have stalledwes_mantooth;1132720 wrote:yeah, Fab4 knows some people that are going to put some designs on whatever we get...put our own little touch on it. PFT is reporting the Rams are looking to possibly trade out of the 6th spot. That may cut into what the Browns could get for the 4 spot if teams can play them against eachother as far as the price to move up.
Dallas may think they can get Claiborne at 6 if the price is cheaper to move up than dealing with the Browns if we have huge demands.

Think he has serious motivational issues and could be another Gerard Warren (obviously don't play the same position).DeyDurkie5;1132666 wrote:Why do you say this?
Also take it FWIW but a long time respected poster on the OBR, who doesn't just throw shit out there, is claiming he spoke with an NFL Insider today and the insider has heard that Holmgren will call it "quits" after the draft. Again, just passing it along so take it FWIW.

About Coples, he may lack motivational issues, but his skill is unreal and pairing him with Sheard sounds awesome.

Problem is, he's a LDE specialist and doesn't play that well, nor want to play, at RDE where he is needed. Sheard is a real nice fit at LDE and is comfortable there.DeyDurkie5;1132859 wrote: About Coples, he may lack motivational issues, but his skill is unreal and pairing him with Sheard sounds awesome.

weeden is growing on me. either 22 or 37. preferably 37, if we can get 7 years out of him thats the most out of a qb since our return. if he was 22 23 he would be a top ten pick. dude can straight game.

NO reason to burn a pick within the top 4 rounds on a QB. Just absolutely no reason.

If not, Pat Shurmur might as well update his resume now because he will be out of here at the end of the year.
No incoming President is going to make the same mistake Holmgren made by keeping Mangini that first year instead of bringing in his guy right away.
