Starting QB's, please? I'd assumed you would have known what I meant. I know he's not "bottom 3" in terms of EVERY QB, but he is in terms of starting QB's.SportsAndLady;1131808 wrote:Jimmy Claussen, Brady Quinn, Mark Brunell, Delhomme, Brian Brohm, Kellen Clemons, Trent Edwards, Rusty Smith, Brodie Croyle, Kyle Boller

I'd take Couch over Homcomb.

I'll take McCoy over Ponder and Gabbert. Although I'll take McCoy, Painter no longer is a starter, neither is Skelton.

Why in the hell would I assume that when you said "bottom 3 QB in the NFL"BR1986FB;1131815 wrote:Starting QB's, please? I'd assumed you would have known what I meant. I know he's not "bottom 3" in terms of EVERY QB, but he is in terms of starting QB's.
If you said bottom 3 qb we could assume u mean bottom 3 starter. But when you actually say on the NFL?
That's like me saying dqwell Jackson is a top 3 linebacker on the browns...then saying you should know I meant top 3 linebacker in the afc lol durrrr

Hmmm...according to Schefter, Eagles LT Jason Peters ruptured his Achilles during training earlier in the week. Wonder if Kalil falls to #4 if the Iggles might have interest in dealing with Heckert?

I don't know about blind faith, being a Cleveland fan, that is almost impossible. I do like what they have been doing though. We will see though. If they draft Tannehill (or take one of the following QBs in the first 3 rds: Weeden or Cousins) with the 4th overall, my stance will quickly change.lhslep134;1131770 wrote:Curious question:
Does anyone blindly trust H&H? I'm not afraid to admit that given their history, and the fact they haven't made bonehead moves the past 2 offseasons (ie giving 2nd tier WRs top tier money, stupidly mortgaging the future for a draft pick), that I have complete faith in H&H to make the right moves for our team.
Case in point for me: I really wanted McCoy coming out of Texas, just not in the first round. As he kept falling and falling, I was afraid we'd miss out on him, but lo and behold we snag him in the 3rd round (which, no matter what BR thinks, was a really good value pick). Along with the other good draft picks we've had over the last 2 years, I have no reason to doubt H&H

Matt Miller ‏ @ nfldraftscout People close to Trent Richardson tell us that the # Browns and # Buccaneers are both very interested in the RB.

In reply to David Martter
Earlier draftscout had reported that 3 agents for top 10 players didn't want their clients to come to Cleveland. Based on his 2nd tweet in response to the question, it seems like Richardson is probably not one of those three.

Hopefully Bentley isn't teaching him how not to tear his ACL during 7 on 7 drills.

Matt Miller ‏ @ nfldraftscout @ DavidMartter Richardson is a fierce competitor. He'll suit up, happily, anywhere he goes.

Agreed, although I wouldn't mind Cousins/Foles/Weeden in the 3rd if we adequately address other needs first.like_that;1131906 wrote: If they draft Tannehill (or take one of the following QBs in the first 3 rds: Weeden or Cousins) with the 4th overall, my stance will quickly change.

I proposed this question earlier. If the Browns or Dolphins don't take these guys in the earlier rounds, who will?lhslep134;1131981 wrote:Agreed, although I wouldn't mind Cousins/Foles/Weeden in the 3rd if we adequately address other needs first.

It depends on how those players are ranked on teams' draft boards. Way too speculative for me to guess, because if they have a guy like Weeden ranked really high I could see him going late 1st/early 2nd (trading up to do so).like_that;1131987 wrote:I proposed this question earlier. Part of the reason I hate Todd McShay: he's an idiot and is only on ESPN because of his daddy.

My cousin is going to be on ESPN 850 today at 3:30 if anyone is interested. He was at Tannehill's pro day and it seems like that's what they are going to be asking him about.

I know that he's not available but not ALL NFL players don't want anything to do with Cleveland. 92.3 had Beanie Wells on this afternoon (was throwing out the first pitch at the Reds/Tribe spring training game) and Bull & Fox asked him about the prospects of playing for the Browns in the future and he had to contain his excitement at the thought. He was gushing over at the thought of being a Brown. Obviously he's an Akron guy so that helps. On that note, FUCK YOU Mario Manningham!

James Harrison is from Akron, too...dont think he has any interest, though.

Who is his dad? I think his job is more of evaluating talent at the college level and not necessarily knowing all teams coaches and what not.lhslep134;1132025 wrote:Part of the reason I hate Todd McShay: he's an idiot and is only on ESPN because of his daddy.
