Agree on Weeden. He's probably the only one I'd look at this point. Don't see what people see in Cousins. I don't see much more arm strength than McCoy.

How counterproductive can you be with weeden at that spot? There is NO gain with taking him within the first 3 rounds. Absolutely none.

By the draft chart, for the Browns to trade #4 to the Cowboys, the Browns should get #14 (1st rounder), #45 (2nd rounder), #81 (3rd rounder) and a 2013 1st rounder. Let's say they leave the 3rd rounder out of it...how bout Miles Austin to replace that pick? Anybody want to trade down?

EDIT: Apparently the Boys' are balking as the Browns have asked for Demarco Murray in the deal.

He'd likely be the starter by late in the year.

yes there is, this team doesn't have a legit qb. colt mccoy is 0-10 vs the AFC north.

LOL yeah, a rookie coming in from the weakest pass defense in the "top" leagues is goin to start. Get out of here. use that pick on a starter for either the offense or defense.

BOO HOO. McCoy is one year under hte league, in a time with no offseason. Bringing in a rookie to "start" is just retarded and counter productive

McCoy is going into his THIRD year. Should've cut bait with him already but he's like that booger that the little kid can't get off his finger...an albatross that H&H can't seem to get rid of.

this will be mccoys third year in the league.

EDIT: BR beat me to it. in two years mccoy has 20 tds and 20 ints. he is def putting fear in opposing defenses with that cannon and tourching of defenses he has done. he has what, 1 300 yard game in two years? and i think that was against tenessee and he had 50 completetions?

His first year was like 4 games? His second year he didn't have an offseason. This is his legit 2nd year to judge him on.

If Weeden isn't 28 years old he's a top 10 pick in this draft. Where was McCoy drafted? Oh yeah, 3rd round and that was ONLY after Holmgren stopped his freefall. Otherwise, he's probably taken in the 4th or 5th.

We can get a STARTER with those first 3 pcks. Why on earth would we waste it on a qb that has no NFL experience? It doesn't make sense unless you are an impatient browns fan like yourself.

oh the legit offense coordinator that cleveland ran out of here because he wasn't good enough. i forgot. steve smith was coming off of a shitty year and people were calling him washed up. the QB is suppose to make your playmakers better newton does it, mccoy doesnt. end of story.

do you not want a franchise qb? or can we get that next year when we have another shitty year with mccoy?

EDIT: i think weeden has more upside than mccoy. weeden could be franchise material for 7 8 years.

He's played enough for them to "judge" him and they did when they tried to move up for the #2 pick and then the #1.

He's NOT their solution and they know it. They are STUCK with him this year hence all of the "niceties" with the "Colt is our guy" crap that they are spewing. Not exactly gonna say "McCoy sucks but we're stuck with him this year and are hoping for the best."

LOL what? You and BR were saying that mccoy was a great qb after his first year. Don't give me that shit.

I want other peices filled with those first 3 picks, not a "unproven" QB.

you hate mccoy, ti's been proven. Obviosuly your opinion is biased.
