Unless something drastic happens, I can say this is the least optimistic I've been about a Browns season in a LONG time. Not even the dreaded "cautiously optimistic."shook_17;1120491 wrote:For sure that's what im saying! But its always "next year" in cleveland. It never ends lol

The schedule worked for the Bengals last year. They went 1-7 against teams with winning records. How good they actually were is highly debatable.lhslep134;1120411 wrote:Is it? It worked for the Bengals last year.
I don't see the Browns getting to play 4 games next year against teams that end up with top 5 picks (and 6 against top 10).

And this is a major reason for my pessimism. Looking at the schedule along with the fact they have created even more holes and haven't upgraded at QB gives me no reason for optimism.Mulva;1120497 wrote:The schedule worked for the Bengals last year. Isn't that the truth. Usually im raa raa raa. This team can make some noise this year. This year its like shitt. We need a franchise qb, rb, 2 wide outs, rt, 2 olb, s, c. Blahhh. The browns taking $400 dollars for a down payment on my season tickets friday hurt! Lol man as much as I get pissed off and wish I could turn my back and walk away from the browns and my season tickets. I can't do it. I live for those Sunday early morning tailgates and the football inside cbs. Spending time with fellow browns fans and my family.OQB;1120553 wrote:Lol dumbass....

Id gladly eat crow if colt mccoy turns it around and is a perenial pro bowler. As for the regime if they rub it in our face they can suck it. We have suffered long enough, no reason to rub it in

Just looking at the schedule though and I am not sure where we get more than 4-5 wins from.
I could very easily see us going 1-9 vs. our division and the NFC east. We likely get swept by them, and go 1-5 in the division. 3-7 in those 10 games is likely an absolute best case scenario, and that would take all the stars aligning.
92.3 was carrying the regimes water big time today as I was listening to the radio, but even they admitted Holmgren is going to regret ever saying that 4 or 6 wins is unacceptable considering the schedule we play.

I don't see a win against our division OR the NFC East. I could see a win against Indianapolis but that's about it.IggyPride00;1120587 wrote:Amen. I would gladly eat crow.

haha that's cool man....I'm sure it is a blast, but since you won't hear it from the Brown's organization...I'm sorry you have to PAY to sit in CBS and watch this shitty team. Kudos to you for keeping your season tickets.shook_17;1120579 wrote:Lol man as much as I get pissed off and wish I could turn my back and walk away from the browns and my season tickets. I don't see how they have "created" holes. The roster right now is pretty much the same as it was last season minus Hillis, who didn't do shit last year. Steinbach didn't even see the field last year, so I wouldn't count him either. So, where are these holes that were "created?"

Bro it sucks ass. Up to last year I never missed a home game since I've had my tickets. But last year I only went to four. The games were THAT boring. The tailgates were more exciting then the actual game. One day it has to turn.. right? lol why the fuck are the skins all of a sudden heavy favorites against the Browns?BR1986FB;1120596 wrote:I don't see a win against our division OR the NFC East. I could see a win against Indianapolis but that's about it.
Sorry, the Browns aren't great, but you guys are making them look like they are as bad as they were in Mangini's first year. All their games this year were competitive, now all of a sudden we are going to make them 14 pt underdogs against teams like the fucking redskins?

Well since you're from Genoa, atleast you get to see some offense in the regular season watching Genoa play!shook_17;1120611 wrote:Bro it sucks ass. I was reading one of heckerts pressers. It sounds like he has a hard on for hardesty. I wouldn't be surprised if he is our starter next year. But pashos is gone, so rt, and I think the "holes" they are speaking of is upgrades at positions like wr, rt, rg, olb, s, c and rb.like_that;1120604 wrote:I don't see how they have "created" holes. Skins beat the Giants 2x's last year. Who said anything about "heavy favorite" or "14 point underdogs?" Browns will be VERY bad.like_that;1120614 wrote:lol why the fuck are the skins all of a sudden heavy favorites against the Browns?

Haha. For sure. I actually got to play for vicars there. Great memories. But there offense is better than the browns! Haha
Side note. Vicars fired the rb coach buckley, ( bc buckley and DC speiss didn't get along) so after that I guess 4 other coaches resigned because of the firing and the reason vicars gave them. Its sad.

So? The Browns beat the Saints and Pats 2 seasons ago. That really didn't mean shit going into this past season.BR1986FB;1120631 wrote:Skins beat the Giants 2x's last year. Who said anything about "heavy favorite" or "14 point underdogs?" Browns will be VERY bad.
The Browns played every division rival close. If it wasn't for a fluke play in week 1, they would have had a win against the division too.
I think you need to take a break from listening to Cleveland radio. It seems to work you up.
