I would be fine with them trading back a few spots and being able to take T-Rich, Michael Floyd and an O-Lineman with their first 3 picks. I think that could be a step in the right direction for the offense. I also wouldnt mind Blackmon, Alshon Jeffery, Kendall Wright, or Sanu as a wr taken...they can also try to get LaMichael James in the 3rd. So they could add some pieces on Offense this year and next year grab their guy to be the QB.

2. Exactly which major playmaker's contract do you suggest we should have taken on? Because I don't see one worth it.
Ok, so we never had a key player on offense and havent attempted anything in free agency. like i said, typical browns. If the Browns want to get a major playmaker, then they will have to over pay because that is the only way they will get one to sign here.

I dunno BR, after cutting Addai, that should be good for at least two more wins for the Colts... right?

Answer my question: what major playmaker's contract would you have wanted the Browns to take on?

That's not really "overpaying" for Flynn.

Can't believe the Browns didn't offer that?

Does not seem like too much to me. Is this excessive?

No. I think that's actually pretty cheap. I was expecting way more.

No way. Over the life of the contract the average salary is top 10 money. No thanks.

any of the WRs who have proven themselves. When is the last time somebody has won a super bowl without a legit WR or two?

Yes...really! I don't see Pryor on the q back depth chart. Wait, see, and learn. TP WILL be catching footballs and not throwing them. Give it time.

Stop avoiding my question....which WR's contract would you like to have on our books?

Garcon's 10th highest WR contract?
Vincent Jackson's 3rd highest?

http://www.spotrac.com/top-salaries/nfl/average/wide-receiver/

Both of those are terrible contracts and overpayments. The Browns need to manage their money better than throwing top 10 money on a WR who isn't near top 10 or top 3 money at a WR who isn't top 3.

So, if you could finally answer my question instead of intentionally being vague and avoiding it, it would make debating you a lot easier.

Ok. Be happy with medericracy. Keep massaqoui and norwood. Give me garcon we have the money, use it. He is in his prime and young. Let's keep drafting second round wide outs, its working out great for this organization.

Yeah I agree w/ this. You have to overspend sometimes. It's not "our" money. Who cares if they give a bad contract to a good player at a position of need; we need them!

We're going to take a WR in the 1st round this year. I don't see any reasonable purpose in giving Garcon top 10 money. That's why it was the Redskins who did it.

Garcon has never had 1000 yd season, I'm glad we didn't spend idiotic money on him. Still have yet to see an explanation on how the skins signed him with the cap hit they took.

He had 974 yards and I think 7 tds. And also had curtis painter / kerry collins throwing to him. Dude is doing something right. Imagine what he could do with our boy mccoy

If I think this is right. the skins had 36 million in cap. Took 18 million hit this year and 18 million next. Not sure how they worked the contracts and not sure if that's what your asking COA

I don't mind building throught the draft...but at the rate we are on, these draft picks will be at the end of their contracts and leaving town. At some point we have to fill some of our positions of need with FA's...and I thought this year was a good time to get a young veteran WR/OL to fill some holes and try to get this team to the playoffs.

Exactly. If he was so good the Colts would have made more of an effort to re-sign him, but instead realized throwing that much money at him was stupid.
