Just curious, haven't heard much since the end of last year about the new uniforms...

I got confirmation from the school yesterday, the new uniforms will be next week and Nike wants the fans to all be in RED. They are selling really nice ROLL RED Nike t shirts for $10. Should be a great gameday atmosphere.

Jealousy rears it's ugly head again.

Just think, in 10 years from now these little Po Dunk schools will finally be getting the Pro Combat Uniforms and we will have to hear all about how great it is.

Enjoy them. No matter how great they are, it doesn't help your chances against Massillon. Your first time wearing them will be a loss. How many of your "exciting" uniform combinations that are so great had you lost the first time you worn them? Thats what this uniform will be known as...

Its over now Truce ended ... You started ripping on www.OVAthletics and Ive let it slide but now you have crossed the line ... Yep we know SOS you picked us to go 7-3 at best ... Just win your games cause I want nothing more now than an IC and Big Red matchup .... Now go and fix my sausage biscuits.

This is true. If Massillon beats the mighty Red, the new uni's will be boxed up and never seen again.

Just like when Ronald McCreek broke out their new white pants for the Big Red game and got blown off the field....so I guess you know what you are talking about.

The school let this out. When you are asking ALL of your fans to do something in unison, how can you "keep this in"? Not really a secret.

and as for "the crik" dude, maybe we win, maybe we lose. At least we can play with them (D1). Better yet, at least we try. I usually don't even bother with mr. irrelevant but I can make an exception here since there is no reason to chime in with some jealous comment. Other than grasping at straws trying to take shots at the big guy when you cannot even compete on the same field.

Keep on hating, haters. Keep on rooting for whoever we play since your schools can't take care of things on the field for themself.

I thought they used the tops earlier in the year: red with black slash across the shoulder pad area.

A super catch by B.R's no. 42, taking the ball off the helmet of a Dover defender and running it in for the touchdown. Steubenville kicks off into the end zone; forces Dover to punt; ball goes out of bounds; Big Red takes over around the fifty...lightning delay and the game was called after the required 30 min. wait.
Dover has a nice Freshman team.

No, they didn't even get the new unis yet.

So far this year Big Red has worn new black, new black, white, old white, white, red, and old black.

Not surprised by this Nike movement....Starts at college and then trickles down to high school.


I always liked big red's uniform combos. I think it's cool to wear a throwback/new uniform for a big/special game.....but really love the classic unifrom.

When their is a photo available, could someone post it?

This should be interesting. Nike usually tries to incorporate themes from the school and city in their pro combat. How do you represent depressed, crime, and unemployment? Im thinking rust helmets and suet pants

I'm thinking academic excellence and athletic excellence. It WILL be interesting to see how they incorporate those themes into a football uniform.

The first thing I thought of when making this thread was all of you little people that have a complex.
