I was going to watch it on Netflix, but they didn't have it. Honestly, I'm willing to watch every movie listed here as well as the link provided.

I watched Human Centipede yesterday, and it wasn't bad at all. They could have mad it much more disturbing and gross but didn't. It just came across as a really bad movie.

I love that movie, and I will watch it every time its on...and my wife will walk out of the room every time they get to the end. She can't stand it.

Human Centipede wasn't good at all, cinematically. It was more the concept.

Compared to A Serbian Film, The Human Centipede might as well have been Barney & Friends Go To The Park.

I think it can be found in its entirety on-line. Just google it.

I hadn't heard of this one, so I looked it up on Wiki. You might be correct. The plot summary is a wee bit on the twisted side. And by "wee bit", I mean...you don't actually have to watch the movie to get nightmares about it; you just need to read about it.

I caught bits and pieces of a movie on cinemax yesterday where the Japanese army had a female prison camp. One of the women tried to escape and was caught so they had her kneel down in front of the other women and they poured gas on her and set her on fire. I never caught the beginning or the end so I dont know about any plots or such. Fuck the Japs!!!

A Serbian Film was probably the most disturbing movie I've ever seen, followed by Gummo.

The human centipede wasn't that bad, but part 2 is supposed to be much worse.

I agree that the concept and the sheer idea of doing what was done is pretty disturbing. I just thought they could have done SOO much more with the movie to make the movie itself disturbing as opposed to just the concept.

Also, anyone else think the Doctor looked like Christopher Walken?

No shit. I just read the whole thing and almost threw up. This is by far, the most disgusting thing, I. Have. Ever. Read.

-a film of Rasa helping a woman give birth to a baby girl; Rasa then proceeds to rape the newborn in what the director calls "newborn porn"

GTFOH with that shit. Seriously...WTF!

Although, I must say, Im a bit intrigued to check it out with my finger on the FF button.

Not gory at all...

But the scene in "The Omen" where the guy falls through the ice and drowns while trapped underneath it... ooohboy.

That's the second Omen, isn't it?

Laley
When I was reading about it on the tvtropewiki site, I found interesting things like one reviewer saying he wasn't going to describe certain scenes simply because that might influence someone to watch to movie to see if it's all that. And in the Wikipedia entry, one of the guys who's behind the concept of the movie being a disturbing analogy towards the Serbian government's treatment of the people did so in the way of essentially saying, "It's surprisingly intelligent and (compliment, compliment) and I'll never, ever watch it again."

There's a part of me tempted to, but there's a part of me that notices how everyone essentially says that it's intensely disturbing and you'll want to erase it from your brain immediately and that part of me is friends with another part which has noticed that I've been in a vaguely creeped out mood today ever since reading it. That kinda serves to detract from the thought of possibly hunting it down.
