But really, I feel like it's hard to have an opinion if you haven't been to EL but I can see why a lot of people haven't--because there is no reason to go there.
Familiar with EL but your right, no reason to go there. Some Steuby neighborhoods are like war zones though.

So as usual, just like on Cavs threads, no FACTS (high crime, high drug rate, etc), just your high and mighty opinion.

I'll give you that it's "boring", "lame" and a "do nothing" town, because there's nothing going on for entertainment, but trash & garbage? No.
It's like arguing with someone over whether or not my grass is green...why waste the time?

LOL.

Sebring is nice little town. But overall, the people are trash and the town really doesn't have anything going for it. When a sectioned off retirement community is the towns nicest area BY A LONG SHOT, it's not anything to write home about.

Never said it was the shittiest place around, but there is nothing special about Sebring.

I don't think the Ville is even in the discussion here. And I'm not saying it b/c I'm from here. Im not offended by someone saying my hometown is a shithole. Of course like any city in the U.S. there are run-down areas and there are really nice areas.

I agree the rt 7 view if nasty b/c of the mills there. But the University is very nice and park at Bell View is awesome for this area now that they dropped the cash into it. That's the only two places I ever hang out and they're both really nice.

Plus our schools are pretty high quality too. So, of course if you drive through the worst part of a city and judge the entire city on that alone you get a biased opinion.

And those shitty areas are convenient too. I don't have to drive outside my own town to score a bag. I can go downtown, do my thing, then back to the nice part of town. Works for me...

Also, unexpectedly I know some insanely good musicians and other artists who live and perform right here. So, unless you come to Steubenville and somehow can't find your way up a hill then you will likely to get a terrible impression.

Steubenville is definitely the Arm Pit, but Canton is the bung hole which makes Akron the 'taint. And the state football championships will finally be coming back to the State's sweet bosom which is and always will be C-bus baby.

There are certain parts of Mansfield that are scary, it's definitely up there on the crap list. McArthur and Wellston in southern Ohio are a few others I hate.

You would be safer walking around the streets of Kabul than some of the streets on the east side of Cleveland, but it is still a big city with nice areas and stuff to do, so it can't really compete with some of the hick towns on the river being discussed in this thread.

Not many people can be proud of the fact that they can score some drugs and be home quickly and then threaten someone to keep away from the kids ball game.
