At first I thought it looked terrible, but the reviews are pretty good so far, so I will probably go see it. Anyone else going to take this one in?

I thought it was gonna be awful, but I've been reading a lot of good things about so i wanna go see it.

By the way, a bit of trivia.....the guy who directed the movie is the "other guy" from Lonely Island. Basically the guy from the Jizz in My Pants video who isn't Andy Samberg.

I saw a free early showing at UK the last week of April. It had a couple parts that were hilarious, but it wasn't consistent enough for my liking. Also, the SNL sketches left me with such high standards that it couldn't live up. I can't decide whether it would be worth the $8.50 or not.

Macgruber isn't funny in 120 second segments....I'm not sure why people expect to be entertained for an entire movie.

It just looks like its going to be awful to me. I doubt I will go see it unless a lot of my friends tell me its pretty good.

Mooney that is a pretty interesting piece of trivia.

Most SNL movies are terrible. The only one I can think of that was halfway decent was Night at the Roxbury, and even then, it was too "dumb" of a brand of humor for a lot of people. It looks like it will have some good parts, but overall there is no way in HELL that it's going to make The Hangover "look like Beaches" as the trailer commercial claims.

Was a big fan of Night at the Roxbury (so stupid it was funny) and Wayne's World but this one looks beyond stupid. Won't waste money on this even when it hits dvd (waiting for the smartass Mantooth comment).

I'm surprised they haven't made a movie about those SNL cheerleaders with Will Ferrell and that Sherri chick.

saw when he hosted WWE Raw... it looked like a movie with potential and then through sketches and other stuff that happened throughout that night it just fell apart for me

It amazingly has an 89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is a GREAT review, especially for a comedy. One critic says its the funniest comedy/action movie since "Beverly Hills Cop."

I didn't really care for it, but it did have some hilarious parts. I told Rose that it might be one of those movies that I have to watch a 2nd time....I might absolutely love it by then.
