Well, assuming he ever decides to make up his mind. Which will probably take about 3 more aya-whatever retreats and four short-term hook-ups with C-level actresses.

It would be nice if this got resolved, if only to bring an end to what might be the saddest free agency quarterback hunt of all time. Figuring out where Rodgers, Russ, Cousins, Jameis, Pickett, Rudolph, etc. are going to end up is not exactly riveting "edge of the seat" news being made.

He was in PIT for 4 hours, maybe 6, on Friday.  It's apparently not about the money.

Tomorrow is Thursday and still no announcement.  It seems Rodgers is desperately hoping for a prettier girl than the Steelers to woo him.

He can’t be an attention whore if he signs with a team and disappears from coverage until training camp starts.

Rodgers entering self-parody mode.

Man who is in his second straight year of making anyone interested wait for him to go on retreats and ponder his future for weeks or months goes on McAfee talking about how pissed he was that the Jets made him fly to New York to tell him they were moving on. Gee, having to waste your time due to the whims of another...what an unexpected shock, Mr. Lack of Self-Awareness.

Now, wait, he'll wind up signing with Pittsburgh and I'll have to reverse my opinion on that 180 degrees.

Terrell Owens then Bret Favre made this a thing….Rodgers will sign in early August for $55 million and lead the Steelers to a riveting 10-7 season with a 38-16 loss in the WC round

Apparently Rodgers has said he is willing to play for $10M.  Which seems odd, given he hasn't signed...which indicates, at minimum, he may not be 100% "willing" to play at all.  At least not for PIT, and no one who follows PIT would blame him for rejecting that neanderthal offense.

I'm not real excited for any QB that could possibly fall to PIT, or be available with a trade up 5-10 spots.  But I wouldn't cry over $10M for Rodgers to mentor him for a year.  A lot of PIT fans are secretly hoping Rodgers will sign and go scorched earth on Tomlin and his JV offense.  I view Rodgers as the best chance currently on the horizon to hasten Tomlin's exit.

Mentor? Dude won’t even talk to his dad…he’s going to willingly mentor someone?

I’d have no interest in Rodgers. He’s probably not playing more than one more year. Are the Steelers a QB away from the Super Bowl? No? So just get the process started and go draft Sanders or Dart.
