Yeah, I'll work on getting one up there tonight. Still need to load up on puzzles for the next week before I head to Hawaii tomorrow.

A few additional features I want to add sooner rather than later:

A way to share results with some sort of emoji (like the wordle squares).

A way to play without being signed in (so it can be shared widely and hopefully bring in new folks?)

A way to add multiple hints so after each additional guess you get a better hint (thanks to Laley for the suggestion)

A way to detect misspellings or close enough answers (like Cincinnatti, although honestly you should be arrested for not knowing how to spell it correctly)

Um…..should have gotten credit on guess 1. Took me to 5 to type it right. 

Added the game link to the main nav, and also added a little badge to let you know there is a new game to play. Once you play for the day this will go away.

It's hard coming up with these puzzles. 

Today’s should be relatively easy. Reminder that the number of words in the answer is given. So if it says two words and your answer is only one word or three words it’s going to be wrong.

My wife could care less about this site.  But she like this game.  We did the first two together to see who gets the right answer first.  My wife got this one before me in less than 30 sec.

Pretty sure I'm 2 for 2 on the first guess.  Couldn't play the other day without being logged in, but thought it was Buckeye Stadium.

On Brutus the Buckeye….he is the son of a former Brutus Buckeye and the only father-son combo ever. The Dad was a Jackson High School graduate and DJ’d my 14th birthday…also was the kick on our high school football team and once whiffed on a kickoff 😁

And their cousin is director of basketball operations for the women’s OSU team

They need to not go from no clue at all for 2 guesses, to basically "The answer is XYZ" on the 3rd one.

Today's was literally "Professional Athlete from Akron who brought a championship".

Could be more like...

After first wrong guess "athlete"

After second wrong guess "championship"

After third wrong guess "Akron"

I got it in 1 today. 

Both over the weekend I got it in 1. Today, 3. But I had the right thought process for the guesses. 

Is there anyway to get the top banner on mobile? On weekends I am not at a desktop, and have to play via phone. Clicking this thread to get to the game is fine, but figured if we could have it pinned up top would be even better.

I think I already addressed this earlier that I want to adjust the way hints work, and it's pretty much like you mentioned. I had to do this current set of puzzles the night before flying to Hawaii so I was in a bit of a rush and had chatgpt do most of the work. 

I also like the idea of the weekend and Monday puzzles being pretty easy. Eventually I want Friday to be an extremely hard puzzle to hopefully kill any streaks people have running,.

If you click the three lines on mobile you get a full navigation menu, which includes a link to the game like on desktop. Two taps from anywhere on the site and you should be at the game.

I could do something where it puts an actual banner above everything if you haven't played yet.
