What a really crazy situation. The guy apparently worked at the airport and managed to steal this airplane with the intent to eventually kill himself?
Look up @jwsthomson on Twitter. He, amongst many others, have the full transcript between Rich (the guys name I guess?) and the air traffic controller.
Those clips are crazy to hear. He really didn't want to hurt anyone. Those pilots talking him through it did a great job of keeping him calm and keeping everyone else safe.

The video clip of him attempting a barrel roll was scary. From his comment afterward, sounds like he wanted to end it there and was disappointed he was able to pull up in time..
this is crazy. glad this numbskull didn't hurt anyone else on his suicide journey.
Upon hearing the recordings, I kinda just feel bad for the guy. Tough to listen to.
