Seems like the NFC was a lot more busy today. Falcons and Bears signed everyone.

Jets in negotiations with Allen Lazard.
And apparently today might have been the first day it was possible to do anything with Rodgers contract. Something about having to wait a year and he signed the extension a year ago today.

Dammit Mcafee says Rodgers isn't on the show today and he still has no idea.

Guy on the Jets forum that claims to have sources and I think has been right in the past says Lazard to the Jets is a done deal. We'll see if that plays out.

Nice to see Perine leaving the division for Denver. That guy was more of a weapon for the Bengals than Mixon, imo.

With the Burrow contract coming up, did you expect them to do a lot?
I would expect them to be more active toward the later stages, where they might be able to pick up bargains.

Patriots....the bane of Justin's existence....
BREAKING: Per source, I’m told the New England #Patriots offered a “far superior” trade package for Aaron Rodgers than the New York #Jets, and as it stands now, the #Packers hold the cards as Rodgers has “made it known” he’s open to playing for either team. #NFL

That guy has <6,000 followers and I haven’t seen anyone else mention anything else about this. We sure it’s legit?

Yeah that's not legit.

God, I hope it's not legit. I mean, I have as much fun as anyone ragging on Justin's choice of football team and their constant misery where just making the playoffs and getting dumped almost immediately is about the same as winning a Super Bowl for an actual good franchise...but the Patriots? No fucking way. Those fucks running the AFC for years under Brady deserve a good, long stretch of mediocrity (at best). Not being able to snag another HoF QB and having a chance at a 2-3 year window of being on top again. I want nothing but Mac Jones making questionable decisions and throwing tantrums at the OC for the foreseeable future!

Rodgers wants to play for the New York Jets. The holdup is due to the trade compensation the Packers are seeking.

As day three comes to an end, I would have expected them to sign someone besides Germaine Pratt. That’s it, that’s the list.
I know they have to pay Burrow, but they’re not the only fucking team paying a lot of money to a QB. All they’ve done is get drastically worse at safety, tight end, and running back. And still haven’t added any depth to anything.

How many draft picks do they have?

7.
And I’m sick of hearing how easily replaceable those losses were. Okay, so replace someone already then.

A. It won't happen.
B. If it did happen, that means you'd "win" because that means Wilson magically matured over the off-season and is ready to be a perennial All-Pro.
C. If it did happen, that also means you'd lose because no matter how well Wilson plays leading up to the season, there's no way the Jets would bring Rodgers over to have him sit the bench, leading to all sorts of potential for high drama.
D. Pete Prisco must be one of those reporters who "earns" his keep by making hot taeks and playing them off as "what if" devil's advocate questions, regardless of how far out they are. "What if going to the Jets causes Rodgers to complete his transformation into Favre and he sends a dick pic to a young chick while running a con job on the side?"
