The #18 women’s team beating the #2 team warrants a court storming?

Alabama is up by 4 on Auburn. Auburn’s final possession the ball appears to go out of bounds as time expired. But wait hold on stop the celebration we need to review and put 0.5 back on the clock, for a four point game. What’s the point 🙄

Can anyone answer me with just why the pussies at Texas seem to think their "Horns Up" gesture is something sacred and mocking it in any way is possibly the worst thing a human being can do?
Just in the last couple weeks, the team's coach cried at UCF players for flashing "Horns Down" after a game and the BYU student section had to remove "Horns Down" shirts at a home game. Granted, the latter of the two probably is more on BYU for being stupid Mormons who think having fun is a sin, but it does seem at times like people act like it should be a crime to mock Texas and mess with their precious hand signal.

It’s dumb…..leave it be.
Not real clever by student sections but since it gets under their skin so much, will keep hapo

Solid day today. Houston at Kansas, Duke at UNC, Tennessee at Kentucky. All in the top ten as of right now.

In lesser NIT-like action I’ll be at the Pitt/Notre Dame game

I think Purdue is the team to beat. A lot of experience on that team and it’s damn hard to stop Edey.

I’m not surprised Arenas got this wrong because he’s a moron but Swoopes should know better. Clark is a true senior, she never had a Covid year.

Question for you guys
I was at the 45th biggest college game of the weekend
Pitt -9.5 over ND
126.5 O/U
This game means little, can’t be a big betting game but the over seemed like an absolute no doubter.
Neither team could shoot for shit the first half until Pitt got hot last 2 min….50 total points in first half. Second half Pitt pulled away a bit, game in hand. ND kept getting phantom nothing calls resulting in 2 free throws, didn’t seem a big deal just seemed like bad officiating a bit.
Late in the game Pitt is up 13 with 45 seconds and ND missed a 3 and Pitt grabs the rebound….ND fouls…Pitt up 70-55. ND scores with 29 seconds to make it 70-57 and the over finally made it (seemed to have a bit of help)….then Pitt inbounding ball and ND in full court pressure??? Pitt inbounds and dribbles down d sideline and gets knocked out of bounds….refs call Pitt out? ND hits a 3 with 17 seconds to make it 70-60 and the -9.5 in danger, then ND lets them dribble it out.
It was weird and felt like the officials were in on something on both parts and ND gave in 1 possession late.
If 2nd half was called similar to first half there is no way in hell they get the over.
You think these officials are aware of the Vegas lines in these games?

Who knows about the refs but it’d be fucking irritating if a team was still fouling/pressing down 13 with less than a minute left.
This is a hot take and I’ll die on this hill but I think they should reduce how many time outs each team has. There was a sequence yesterday where the Lakers called a timeout, come out of it and Lebron missed a shot that went out of bounds, then the Knicks called a timeout. 8 seconds had run off the clock.

No hot take at all
When Pitt beat Duke it took 19 minutes of life to finish the last 29 seconds of the game.
Close games with the big shots seem to take 10+ min for the last minute of the game. It’s the basketball version of baseball closers in a tight game late….enter pitch clock

Hoping this year is the last straw for Holtmann at Ohio State. Team's doing the same "respectable play in out of conference games; absolute suck in the B1G" as last year, they're incapable of winning on the road AND last night was their second loss of the season in which they blew an 18-point second half lead. With those losses coming to Penn State and Indiana, who aren't exactly powerhouses this year. Because when they are actually playing decent-to-good conference teams like Illinois, Northwestern and at-home Nebraska, they sure as hell never have a big lead to piss away.

Chris Holtmann got canned.
He seems like a genuinely good guy, just wasn't producing results.

Nope, team just seemed to totally stagnate, especially when conference play started. Way too much "guys dribbling around while no one else is really moving" leading to forcing up shots late in the clock. And some of his rotation work just seemed suspect to me this year. It just tends to feel like Thornton and Gayle running the show, Battle putting up threes and everyone else is just sort of there as role players.

Holtman definitely seemed to be a great dude. When he was recruiting 7’0 Zach Loveday of Gallia Academy then Huntington Prep(ended up at Baylor) he came to a football game in Jackson to support Loveday playing in the Gallia Academy band at halftime.
I can’t imagine many went to those measures of caring.

If my son wasn’t at Pitt I would never be watching this but ACC Network each Saturday has a Nothing But Net highlight show with a 5 person panel and they go through each ACC game , break it down some and look ahead towards the tournament…..anyways I watched tonight because Blake Hinson went on a tear scoring 41 and Pitt making a run to a bubble team.
Jim Boeheim is on this panel and he is fucking miserable. My God he has zero desire to be there and sounds toasted. No way he needs the money does he? He’s brutal to listen to.

Court storming needs to stop. It’s too quick. Players cannot get off the court. Filipowski looked like he got hurt.
