Suarez is back.
Suarez is back.
Was hoping Pirates would get him, but I understand why he went to Cincinnati. Pittsburgh offering a second year wouldn't be appealing because, after missing out on the big FA paydays, Suarez would be looking for a big year to try to cash in next year, as opposed to being locked in for another year. And if you're using 2026 as a springboard to one final big contract, Cincy's homer-friendly park that you're very familiar with (along with being popular with the fanbase) is a no-brainer pick over Pittsburgh's place.
That’s a Reds move
Hunter Greene out until July.
Today's starting lineup for the 150th Opening Day in Cincinnati‼️

Well that sucked. And then the city embarrassed itself afterwards. Great start.
The challenge system is proving CB Bucknor to be terrible, which everyone has known for 2 decades
Oh the Reds
Ok, not a bad way to save a shitty Opening Day.
I did my magic sacrifice
I’ve bet a couple dollars on the Red Sox ML the last two games
Now….should I continue to bet for the Red Sox as a crazy baseball guy or should I bet for the next Reds opponent to keep it going?
I can see both sides
Sal Stewart and the Reds are playing in Miami…Stewart has over 300 people in attendance at the game to watch him
Reds win again last night after starting the 9th down 2-0.
Reds DFA'd CES today.
Nice little sweep of the Twins.
Reds are decent…very weak schedule so far but things aren’t bad.
Great start!
Reds are frisky tonight.
Reds sign 44 year old 2B Brandon Phillips.

Had to look that up. Great move by them to give him a one-day contract to retire a Red. Dude was a total baller whom I loved watching. Might be my favorite guy who wasn't a member of my team. Great fielder, good hitter and started a fucking awesome brawl with the Cardinals! All great in my book!
Wasn’t a big fan
Putting themselves in a great spot….insanely easy schedule so far but they are piling up wins

Piling up wins early is super important to me. I totally disagree with the camp that says on early season losses “it’s just a few hiccups and it’s early”. Blown games early in the season will bite your ass in September.

They are beating the teams you are supposed to beat and are winning the close games.
I always give the coach great credit when you consistently win the close fames
Elly has been amazing. His contract is going to have to be insane and he’s so fun to watch
And Elly just roped a 115 mph liner that on Javy Baez could’ve caught….and he did at full extention
What a fun couple days it would’ve been at GABP…best weather ever
