Welp…at least had good seats lol

Cleveland comes to town riding a 5 game losing streak and flirting with .500 and under. Guardians are up 2-1 on the Ohio Cup.  If the Reds win two, they keep the cup. 

But, instead, the Guardians win two and the Ohio Cup returns to Cleveland.

Pretty sure that today's game almost made it merciful that you guys are basically out of contention. 5-4 lead with two outs in the ninth and the Cards have runners on. Long, but routine fly ball to left. Myers, in center, runs all the way there, apparently calls off Friedl even though the ball basically was going about to where he was standing. Myers drops the ball. Two runs score to give the Cards the lead, things snowball and it ends up 10-5. 

Reds then come back in the ninth to have it at 10-9 with two outs and the bases loaded, but can't get one more hit/walk to keep it going. That's the sort of loss that, if you're in contention, either causes you to feel a strong urge to punch someone in the face repeatedly or places you in a deep depression. Like where your family and/or friends are calling the Suicide Hotline on  your behalf.

So Elly is looking like the best player in baseball for some weeks. Just hit a mammoth HR off of Skubal and next inning caught the throw from the wall and from deep deep relay range threw a 105.3 mph ball to the plate to throw out the runner by 20 feet
