Lane is such a prima donna asshat. OBR hasn't been good since ~2009 from my memory. Possibly before. It's clear they don't really have any inside scoop the way they used to.

Exactly. They used to have moles within the complex, I think, but now they really have nothing.
49ers, Bucs and Browns are among the teams interested in #Vikings free agent RB Jerick McKinnon.

Nothing says upgrade over Crow like career backup McKinnon.

It's not that hard to upgrade over Crow. There are several RB FAs that I hope the Browns give a call though.

Was McKinnon on that list tho?

No. McKinnon had nothing to do with my second sentence. I just wanted to take a shot at Crow.

Not that you're talking draft, but that's kind of why I'm not "all in" on Barkley like some are with a top 4 pick. I'm fine with QB @ 1, Chubb @ 4 (or trade down with Buffalo for 12, 22 & more) and selecting Guice from LSU with the late 1st (trade with Buffalo) or early second. That dude runs with violence.
Couple of small signings today. An OT for one year and a DE for 3.
Bigger signing, offensive tackle from the Steelers (Hubbard) for 5 years. Played right tackle but can supposedly play both sides.
Not unhappy with Dorsey's trades but these FA signings are kind of garbage. The DL from Cincy is a rotational guy. The OL from Denver may not make it out of training camp and Hubbard is getting paid for limited experience. Dorsey was smart to trade before FA because it looks like he's missing out.
Ehh the Denver uh is a nobody. Depth signing, same as the Cincy guy.
I think Hubbard will be fine, upgrade over Coleman and Haley must have seen something in him.
We have plenty of money. The real problem is missing on people like the CB who went to the Jets.

Not every FA signing is going to be a big splash. Or pan out.

I'm glad, FA signings are fools gold. Dorsey has the knock for ruining cap space, rather him not do that here on guys like Malcolm Butler.
Carlos Hyde do anything for you guys? 3 yr, $15M+

Yeah, I get it but it's safe to say that Sashi's tanking over two years helped fuck this organization as far as a free agency destination. I wasn't expected to land every marquee FA but I did think they should be able to land one or two. Now it's looking like Solder is heading to the Giants (edit).
When Dorsey only has the "Cleveland Browns rich history" and their "great fan base" to sell to potential FA's, he really has nothing, because most FA's care about 1) $$$$ and 2) winning..

He was very productive on a bad Niners team. With the new weapons on our offense, I think he has a chance to be very good. I like the pickup.
Good. Now the talk of Barkley at 1 or 4 can go away.

This. Let's not kids ourselves into believing Dorsey can turn this into a playoff team via FA signings. I remember some people (on this forum and outside of this forum) thought the browns would easily improve their win total after they signed some FA linemen. How did that turn out?

Also this. I am not popping the champagne yet, but signing FA rbs make me feel a little better.
Gives them flexibility to go Chubb, Ward or Minkah at 4, possibly even trade down to 6 and still get one of them.

Trading down to 5 or 6 ( I have a hard time believing keenum/bridewater are long term answers for the broncos/jets) and still getting ward/minkah is a dream scenario imo. I would trade down with them in a heartbeat since they would most likely be trading up for a QB.

The Bills are believed to be moving up to #3 but if that doesn't work out, would you do a deal with Buffalo to slide down to 12 & 22 (likely more)?
QB at 1. BPA at 4. Nothing has changed that thought process for me.
