Seems unlikely tho the ref explanation including “because SEC”

I watched 2 plays and UCF just missed two huge plays...last a TD

Savvy time out by UCF with 50 sec left after the 3rd down sack of Auburn, before the FG attempt.  Worked it into a FG to get back to a 7 pt lead.  I wonder if they would have called that TO if they would have been getting the ball to start the 2nd half.
