I came up with a word that has 5 different letters for my second guess.  Then I put the two yellow blocks (which were e and a) in a different order and using the remaining unguessed consonants……voila!…I guessed it.

I agree.  After doing it for a few weeks, the sixth guess is too much.

Hate to puff all you 33 ACT in 9th grade and didn’t even try guys but think about the average player playing this game and I’d guess that 6th guess probably gives them the win quite often.

Wonder if there is an average result for each day and also overall. I don’t know much about the game but did see a breakdown of my son’s results….how many days with 2 guesses, 3 guesses and so on.

Hate to puff all you 33 ACT in 9th grade and didn’t even try guys but think about the average player playing this game and I’d guess that 6th guess probably gives them the win quite often.

Wonder if there is an average result for each day and also overall. I don’t know much about the game but did see a breakdown of my son’s results….how many days with 2 guesses, 3 guesses and so on.

I’ve only lost 1x, the two 6 guesses would’ve been a lot better at 5 total attempts. I straight wasted 2 guesses to use up letters on 1. The other was when I had a real/working word and 4/5 correct but used the wrong letter to start 3x in a row.

5 would make the earlier guesses matter more and create more “pressure”, whatever that means for a fun internet game haha.

If it were only 5 guesses, I’d fail periodically.  Hell, I’ve failed with 6 guesses.  

I was nowhere near a 33 on my ACT. Not even close.  

By default, you pretty much only have the correct letters remaining by guess 6

Only been close to missing it once…

By the time you are on guess 5 and 6 there really are only like 1 or 2 even possible words left unless you don’t understand the rules.

If I'm one letter away, with several guesses left, I submit a different word that uses the possible letters. Then I know which letter for the next guess.
