Go tribe! Both teams have been so inconsistent this season that no outcome would shock me. I hope that we can get enough clutch hitting and eliminate the stupid base running mistakes that have been a problem all season.

I’ll say this...our offense is built for the playoffs. As is pitching. Both should be used to low-scoring games where runs are a premium, and even 2-0 after 3 could hold up all game.

Kluber was solid in 2016. In 2017 and 2018, he was 0-2 with an ERA of 10.64 in 3 starts.

This is the Kluber I was thinking about, but he definitely delivered in 16’ (except for game 7).
Are we really going to blame Kluber for getting drilled by the Astros when all indications and data point to them knowing the pitches? Obviously, they cheated that game. But his K rate, whiff rate and their take percentage were ridiculous. It wasn’t him. Same for Carrasco...everything that game vs the regular season was eye-popping.
Vs Yankees he had a back issue that needed medical attention. Indians/Kluber choose to keep that quite until season was over.
I actually think Bieber was tipping his pitches last night. Yankees were taking ridiculously good pitches and drilling anything straight/in the zone. It wasn’t a bad outing...it was a complete outlier from 2 seasons worth of data on him.
