contest and walks home with a sweet truck.

 

This hero, a former Navy SEAL, and my brother, was nominated by his boss from a few years ago for this contest.

Man what a shit show this thread was!

There is a True American Hero contest that over 5k people were nominated. Military, first responders, etc. and they whittle it down to 3 people and fly them to Vegas to announce the winner.

My brother was nominated, and won that Rocky Ridge custom truck.   Valued over 80K, and yes the taxes and title was paid.

He talked to Hershel Walker quite a bit!  If you watch the video, Walker wouldn't take his arm off my sister-in-law!

 

In a few weeks he will appear on Fox News for three segments.

He doesn't watch FNC at all so he doesn't recall all the segments except of Hannity. Told him to punch him in the face!

But is a free trip to new York so no too shabby.

It's a cool truck, how much were the taxes? It really sucks you have to pay taxes on stuff like that. Or in general.

We were both thinking the same thing but they picked up the taxes and title costs as well.  

They are making other modifications to it as well like a kit to hold his kayaks and other things.  He said Hershel Walker was a great guy to talk to and hang around with.

Best of the interviews.  Got to drive it home Sunday from NY...says it get 15 mpg which was better than I thought.   Said the turbo charge is amazing and feels like he could squawk em going 70!
