Southern Grist in Nashville officially changes to Xul on Friday. They have taken over the location for a couple months but this is the official rebrand after shutting down for about 10 days. I think SG had better Hazys but XUL has great sours. I’ll be interested to see if they have a special tap list for the grand opening

I was just there in June. We went to the Douglas Ave. location. Xul had some great hazies on tap. Bearded Iris is also there who makes great stuff and a few blocks from Bearded is Monday Night Brewing. Great hazies and fantastic sours, including some barrel-aged sours.

This is the first light IPA I’ve ever tried. Seemed pretty bitter for a 35 ibu rating. Not impressed and won’t be getting this again.

Edit: it’s 135 calories
