Not that I was expecting him to be a huge impact player but it sounds like second year WR, Michael Woods, may have torn his ACL in offseason workouts with Watson and the other receivers.
Correction: torn Achilles and it's confirmed
One of the first Berry drafts that I'm not "WTF'ing" after many picks. My only iffy pick was the WR from Tennessee. Seems like he has a very close relationship with Haslam, who could've influenced that pick.
There is an analytics/cap guru guy on the OBR named Jack Duffin. Dude resides overseas but many posters think he's actually Andrew Berry. The guy hit on almost every pick that they made in this draft just due to analytics, including the QB from UCLA (Thompson-Robinson), McGuire Dawand Jones, etc.
Filled a lot of needs with some quality players. Good to see a couple of Buckeye O-Linemen wearing Brown & Orange.
Solid but not spectacular.
Veteran safety Rodney McLeod signed to a 1 year deal. Had a very good year. Really liking the depth and succession plan for outgoing players that Berry's put together. Would still like to see another DT, RB & LB.
The addition of McLeod will give this defense one of the best secondary units in the league. Also very familiar with Schwartz' defenses.
Dammit....Browns radio voice, Jim Donovan, has announced he's had a relapse of his leukemia. One of the best in the business. Get well.

Yes, yes and yes!
I'm kind of indifferent on this. Would rather have another stud DT....
UPDATE: According to @AaronWilson_NFL a potential DeAndre Hopkins and Deshaun Watson reunion in the #Browns is a strong possibility.

Does one preclude the other? Gimme all the good players.

They added $10 million in cap space today with the June 2nd cut designations for JJIII and Clowney. That gives them about $14-18 million in cap space. Doubt that's going to get both as DHop's supposedly wanting OBJ money.
Sounds like Browns players are being targeted, followed and robbed. Three very recently with Greg Newsome being robbed at gunpoint for his vehicle.
Interesting speculation but highly doubt it happens. Would much rather see this than Hopkins at WR.

Browns have released DT Perrion Winfrey. Being investigated for apparently threatening a woman and pulling a gun. Good riddance. Dude was trash,
Awesome news!
Yes! Can’t wait to be back in the booth with the great Jim Donovan tomorrow for the HOF Game https://t.co/NwIhjlUMsD

Way too early but DTR looks like he'll slide into that QB3 role because Mond looked like hot garbage. Threw a laser on that TD pass. Was hoping Bubba Ventrone would help fix the issue but the 2nd year kicker still looking like he has the yips.
Really excited to see this new revamped D-Line. Word out of Philly in the joint 2 day practices was that the Browns 1's pretty much manhandled the Eagles #1 O-Line. Jason Kelce had nothing but positive comments about the Browns D-Line.
Still have HUGE concerns over the kicker as I know he has the leg but think he has the yips. Between him and Stefanski's "riverboat gambler/go for it on every 4th down" mentality, I could see those two things costing them 2-3 games.
Have you seen the twitter/X/Tiktok theory on Bojorquez and York?
Basically someone on twitter followed Bojorquez' career and everywhere, EVERYWHERE, he has been the punter, and therefore the holder, the kicker had their worst year ever WRT percentage made FGs.
Remember the year Mason Crosby was almost ran out of GB? Yeah, Bojorquez was his holder.
The person on twitter basically said "York was the best accuracy kicker in the NCAA in over a decade and suddenly he can't kick straight...yet does in practice off the tees/holders all the time?"
Its like an Ace Ventura "laces out" Finkle/Einhorn conspiracy.
The stats of Bojorquez' career and the kickers where he was each time pans out though.
How is some guy on twitter figuring this out yet no data analyst on the Browns/NFL figured this out?
^^^^been familiar with this for a while. Might have mentioned it previously. Andrew Berry is stubborn and will keep guys he drafted around until the bitter end.
Tuned in just for the kicking. It’s bad. You can’t go into the season with York on this roster.

Thought it was Finkle?
York kind of redeemed himself last night but still think he has the yips. Dude is money during training camp (hit 10 of 10 going against the Eagles in joint practices) but they get under the bright lights and he shrivels. The posts that jmog made about the holder may hold merit but this seems to be a recurring trend since Phil Dawson left. Browns bring in young kickers, they suck, then go on to have success elsewhere. EDIT: I only watched the first half. Didn't see where York pissed down his leg, missing one FG to put them ahead, getting a second chance and then missing that too.
About last night, I know he's going up against mostly garbage defenses but DTR may be the most polished QB coming out of the 2023 draft.
The Watkins kid might find a spot at WR and he's outplayed the 3rd rounder (Tillman). The undrafted LB, Diabate might be the steal of the undrafted. After he got the safety someone joked that if he keeps getting safeties they will start calling him Type 2 Diabate.
I also think Schwartz' defense is going to be super fun to watch. The backups on the D-Line are absolutely destroying people. I can't wait to see what the 1's do.
Where's Lou Groza when you need him.

I'd take Phil Dawson right now
Are you frigging kidding me?
Well, when your kicker is on IG at halftime posting that he made a kick in the first half… pic.twitter.com/Ttq3Fp1TUx

Stefanski said today that it wasn’t York who posted it. That said, I have 0 confidence in him as kicker.
