I've disliked Mike Johnson ever since he lied about one of his last second vote switches, claiming he was persuaded because of the intelligence agencies. Maddie was in that same room and called him out explaining that what Johnson said never happened. And time and again he's proven himself to be as flaccid as Mitch McConnell.
This is why I also don't want any Congressional majority to approach issues from a "muh authority!" stance. They need to start approaching issues from what the country and it's people need.
Nobody in this site is as intelligent or permanently correct as Ptown is. He lets that be perfectly clear, when you disagree with any little things. Bow down to all he says. This will save many pages of him proving his absolute dominance.
Gosh a ruddies, I have already skimmed through some of the archives!
Can we please stop trying to prove that Trump lies and exaggerates on the daily? All you're doing is proving something that everybody already has disgruntledly accepted is going to happen for the next few years. Doing so reminds me of a line in a Stephen King book:
"He thrusts his hands against the posts and still insists he sees a ghost!"
Tulsi Gabbard confirmed. This is pouring salt on the wound of those who say she doesn't talk enough and then say they are afraid she's going to talk lol!

Nope, not at all. But it’s better than the last 30 years of trillions of debt. Maybe this will finally give Congress the spine they haven’t had for decades.
But literally 25 percent of this debt was put on in 2016 by trump.

Can you make a list of things we can say about trump in the disgusted with trump thread?

You can repeat all of my disgust for him 🤣😉
geeblock wrote:

Good lord, we have had a deficit every year since the Rs in Congress and BILL CLINTON came to an agreement.
Let that sink in, the freaking 1990s.
Yes, we had deficits during the Trump admin, but that is true all 8 years of Obama, all 4 years of Biden, and all 8 years of Bush 2 (well, maybe not the first year, can’t remember for sure).
They (Congress mostly as they are supposed to control the budget and spending) are All BAD/WRONG.
Get Trump out of your ass and realize they have all sucked donkey balls when it comes to the budget.
Sorry if I piss off Dr Boogie again but your TDS is god awful.
geeblock wrote:

Also, to correct….
2021-2024 $7.5T added
2017-2020 $5.5T added
Total debt is $36.2T, and last I checked $5.5T is not 25% of $28.9T. But $7.7T is closer to it.
So not only were you full of TDS but you failed at the math….simple division must be hard in the Columbus School system.
If you strictly want to talk about presidential terms adding to the debt, you don’t want to blame Trump.
CenterBHSFan wrote:

I just want to clarify this answer to her a bit better now that I have more time to do so. I meant what I said but laughed partly at myself.
What I also want to say is that all presidents lie, pretty much continuously. They are all, in my lifetime, better liars than they are just about anything else. With one possible exception and that would be Jimmy Carter. Maybe.
Do I don't make it a habit of mine to preach to the choir. I instead prefer to focus on other things to get my bitch on about. Recent examples being - nobody gives a fuck about Greenland or the Gulf of Mexico's name. Nobody wants to see our country pour even more money into Gaza than we already have. We need that money here. For Trump to vomit that shit out when the state of our country is such an absolute mess is horse shit and I don't want any parts of it.
Consider this: there are still people in Flint Michigan getting sick from their water. While districts in NOLA just sitting there rotting. Scores of people in NC who will never be found. Hawaii is still struggling after their fires and California will be for years. Millions of homeless people, massive mental health crises. And Trump is talking about making Gaza a Riviera?! He can go fuck himself. Which he probably does because if I was Melania, I wouldn't.
Now, there are some things that I do agree with him on. It's like I've hated the Steelers all of my life but I really liked Hines Ward. He was part of the Steelers but he wasn't the whole. For me it's just about giving credit where it's due from where I'm sitting.
So yeah, a president telling constant lies is the inevitable and bitching about it is preaching to the choir here. I'd rather bitch about what I consider to be more important things that happen.
I'm sure others will see it differently, though.

Look at the subject of the thread. It’s about Trump. We listened to you bitch about Obama and Biden on here (perhaps with good reason) and people didn’t makeup some stupid phrase like Obama Derangement Syndrome. Argue your points and understand people can have different views then you without being “deranged”.

Again, bitching about all or most of them is vastly different about having an obsession with just one of them.
That’s the difference. If you can’t see that I can’t help you.

Rigggghhhhttttt....Because criticizing Biden and Obama policies is totally the same as calling Trump dictator, fascist, Hitler...

My point is it is simple minded to parrot the unoriginal term “Trump Derangement Syndrome”.
Jmog sounds like a douche when he does it.
geeblock wrote:But also to be fair trump added 7.8 trillion last time, and is adding 4.5 trillion this time with the current proposal.
I do agree spending/budget was the worst thing Trump did in the first term.
sportchampps wrote:

To be fair, over half that was Covid relief. Setting that aside, he added less to the debt than Obama. Less than Biden, too.

An acquaintance I know, back when Obama was POTUS, literally believed Obama was the antichrist and was not even happy about about Obama giving the order to kill Osama Bin Laden.
I call him out for his stupid deranged rants on FB as well.
The idiots that display a clinical hatred for one POTUS and “call out” things they do but they were either “ok” or silent on them when their side did the same damn things I will call out every time.
Geeblock falls into that category. He has shown to be no better than those that hated Obama or Biden just because they were Ds and not Rs.
Don’t think (willing to be wrong) I ever called ptown “tds” because while be isn’t as “centrist” as he says he is, he at least uses logic behind most of his posts (other than the Biden dementia stuff).
Geeblock is as bad as sleeper was and QO is.

You are not wrong but I don’t give Trump a pass on the Covid stuff. He was complicit at best.
But don’t tell geeblock about Obama and Biden, he failed on the simple division earlier saying Trump was 25% of the debt.
I think Ptown chased QO out of here by calling him a racist every time he posted.

I think you have Geeblock Derangement Syndrome. Him and PTown’s doctor comment push your buttons.

QO is can’t go outside these days because of his perpetual erection.
There are allegations coming out that USAID helped fund one of the Trump impeachments. If that is proven to be true, it's going to end up being very bad for this country.

Sure, if that helps you sleep at night.

True but spending was not his strong point. I would prefer to spend less than what we take in. I’m hoping Doge and cuts can put us on that track. BTW Clinton fired a ton of federal workers to reduce spending
This exchange is going to slip by and go undercovered but this is a very revealing moment. Trump’s government won’t study anything, they will just tell us everything is going great no matter who gets hurt.
