A position he held in the first Trump term.
Care to expand on which of his policies or positions I'm supposed to be alarmed over? Or was that not covered in the daily talking points email?
Or is this just another attempt from "moderate Ptown" to create a mountain out of another nothingburger?

Exactly...
Your thoughts on what he wrote for Project 2025?
I don't get the email, sorry lol.
Also, I said people from Project 2025 would be hired and their policies would be put forward and here we are.

100% correct. 1000s of girls have had to compete against a biological male or had to have a biological male in their locker room.
I was just now years old when I found out that there's a movie about a transgender Pope!

Well, I'm very glad that you're not one of the parents whose daughter had her teeth knocked out or suffers from permanent paralysis! I'm sure if you were, you'd tell her to rub dirt on it and forget it ever happened because it's not a big deal đź‘Ť
Also, I didn't think anybody here was alarmed about P25. I have/had an old friend who was shitting her pants about it, though.

In the old days referred to as the "memo". Basically a euphemism for "parroting the talking points".

Well because they thought it was a liberal conspiracy on here and didn't believe any of the people would end up in positions of influence.
Also, I don't think anyone here actually read it......

On the contrary, the left pulled random things from it and it was their boogeyman. Of course no one read it, it was 900 pages with input from over 100 organizations. It would be impossible for there to not be overlap.

This is naive (just play along with him, he's almost reached climax)

You are INCREDIBLY self-deluded.
First off, I don't think anyone here denied there would be some authors, and even some policies, from P25 implemented. That's a fiction of your own creation.
What people said is P25 was not Trump's platform. YOU said it was. And despite your lecturing about a few people - at least one of whom was in the last Trump admin - who contributed to an article or two, doesn't make it so.
But since you are so familiar with P25, why don't you explain to us what Trump is actually implementing and why it's so bad. Otherwise stop your bitching about your made-up reality.

It was the lefts boogeyman during the campaign and they would parrot single lines here or there from it like it was a Nazi manifesto.
No one said that no one involved would have any position in the executive branch. They said that the left conspiracy that it was Trump’s manifesto and that all his cronies wrote it and all would be his cabinet, was moronic.
The truth, that most of us knew, was that a few of the people were involved with the first Trump admin and a few would probably be involved in the new one. That is so far found to be accurate.
And yes, no one red 900 pages. At best we have red summaries of each chapter. I have red one summary from a left wing and a right wing website for each chapter to see what each side says is in there.
Are you trying to tell us you read all 900 pages?

I mean, we've long established neither you nor I are doctors.
But setting aside moving the goalposts to a completely other state, MULTIPLE efforts for affirmation of a, frankly, smarter argument an alternate Ptown might have made is, well, maybe a bit of a mental health crisis.
It's been, what, 3 weeks? I'm seeing a lot of people all over the place denying they have TDS...and blaming people for not agreeing with them.

If this flippant response by you causes a reset to jmog’s “you’re not a doctor” outrage, you should be banned.
I’m torn on the trans sports issue and if it should stay an EO or pass at the National level. I am typically more in favor of leaving these things up to the states but with Biden and the Democrats trying to rewrite title 9 to include Trans in his last few months in power I can see the need for a National ban.

Saw this, I’m a huge Jim Tressel fan as a coach but not sure as I have no idea what his stances are or what his record of actually doing anything political is
Well he is going from being The Senator to being Governor. Seems to me he has already been in politics 🤣

I had forgot about that nickname, and first thought "wait, he's never held a senate office before".....then remembered and was like "I'm an idiot"
Meh, in this day and age, just having a "The Senator" nickname makes you more qualified than 85% of the people holding those positions.
40 lawsuits so far, trying to stop Trump administration from continuing audits of federal agencies.
How successful does everybody think that the establishment will be in preventing any more corruption from being exposed?

If it was audit that would be one thing, but it is actual cuts and ending of services/ contracts/ funds that have already been allocated and authorized by Congress.
The Executive Branch cannot just stop funding things that the Congress has already approved.
I would be in favor of audits that were then recommendted to the various committees in Congress. But, not this mess.
This story from a USAID employee is just maddening as well

I'll also say for Republicans that were so staunchly Constitutional, they are really, really quiet right now.
I was actually pleasantly surprised to hear Elon say the condom thing wasn’t true. It would have been easy to try to work around that or lie but he took all the energy away by simply saying yea that was wrong.
Trump jr and the Fox News crew were literally yesterday had the number up to 100 million.
I’m not sure I trust Elon and honestly know very little about him. But lying about something that was obviously not true would have probably ruined it for me.
I’m all for The concept of DOGE but currently it just seems like weaponizing the govt against trump’s supposed enemies instead of starting with the large portions of the budget. Cutting NPR which only gets 1 percent of its funding from the feds isn’t going to get us anywhere.
I’m also skeptical that even if we cut money from places that it’s actually going to translate to me as far as taxes ir groceries or gas. Seems like they are just moving it from things they don’t agree with and spending it on things they do agree with. Who wants Gaza? Let’s build up America. Speaking of I don’t think taking over Gaza and dismantling the TSA at same time sounds like a good idea.
