Are you talking about paying Iran?

No, where we had monitors on the ground inspecting and limiting how much uranium they could enrich.

Is everyone in agreement on the EO banning birth males from women sports? Like, can we push this thru Congress so it’s not taken away in 4 yrs?

Ds hate it, so it will have a hard time getting past filibuster in the Senate.

While I agree with it, I'm not sure it's the place for the govt to decide.  If the IOC and other sports governing bodies want to allow it, and if states want to allow it, then what business is it of the federal govt?

Some states won't allow it, and that's potentially a problem when facing schools in other states that do allow it.  But on the college level, you have sports leagues governing that.  I suppose it's also an issue for traveling youth sports.

It should be federal, imo, because athletics is not stat by state. Starting in youth leagues now you are going across borders. Unless you want a governing body for a bunch of youth leagues thru HS, you kind of need a firm law -- unless we want to keep seeing the issue arise with boycotts and walk-outs, etc.

I'm against biological males competing against biological females. Sports is an organized activity and throwing chaos into the mix by not having any uniformity of rules and regulations from state to state or district to district is something nobody wants to deal with. While having the pinpoint of decision making the smallest as possible would be the ideal, it will be almost impossible to have any organization whatsoever and nobody is going to want to deal with any of that. AD's would need specific lawyers and committees just for scheduling lol!

Nah. He didn't like Kamala being criticized so in his mind he has to avenge her honor by pointing out all of the faults of Trump (like it's new and shiney that Trump is fucked up)

Well, if anyone would know about DS, it'd be the guy who waits for certain people to post so he can jump on them, regardless of if he has anything actually worth saying!

I mean it was pretty wild that he (likely) just manufactured an entire conversation out of midair just because Mahomes is in the spotlight this week with the Super Bowl.

It's fine. If it becomes an issue for someone, they can sue and take it to courts.

The men in women's sports is so basic and common sense that I have zero problem with an EO banning it. I'm so sick and tired of hearing about trans stuff. Something that affects a miniscule number of people has gotten totally out of hand. In the process, God knows how many kids have been screwed up by being steered into this nonsense just because they were going through a confusing time in their lives. It is pure sickness.

Yup. If it such a bad thing, then someone will sue and bring it to the courts.

Well unfortunately the problem rose to such a large degree because there were a large amount of people who insisted on ignoring, downplaying all of it, too socially timid, lazy, ideologically driven or just flat out stupid and lazy enough to be contrarian. It was allowed to get out of hand on purpose. It happened on this very forum. I was called naive and told to go talk to trans people. What a fuckin worthless stance.

I guess it took young girls playing volleyball against biological boys and getting spiked in the face so damn hard it was knocking teeth out, giving severe brain damage and permanent paralysis.

It's a sad victory that so much had to happen before the fuckin morons had a thought. But it's a victory.

Russell Vought was confirmed for OMB director. He was the author of chapter 2 of Project 2025.

As is it having no effect on 99.99999999% of the population?

Correct in terms of actual transgenderism.  Incorrect in terms of how many are affected by being forced to accept it as though it were a common human condition.

Interesting, I don't know that I've been forced to give it a single thought.
